The Sales Floor Manager is an experienced position that is expected to lead the sales staff on the floor. We are looking for a responsible Sales Floor Manager to help organize and run our retail stores and fill in for the General Manager when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Outlined below is what we see you doing at this point in time. We are a fast-growing company looking for people that are excited to grow along with us. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Assisting the General Manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
· Coordinating retail store operations
· Ensuring store schedules and objectives are met by employees
· Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
· Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
· Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
· Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates
· Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
· Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
· Handle complaints from customers
· Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competition
· Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
· Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
· Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff

Physical Requirements

From The Earth is expanding to Long Beach, CA, and we're excited to hire a team of enthusiastic, customer-service oriented, experienced receptionists who are passionate about cannabis. We hire outgoing, motivated, detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused problem solvers who have great communication skills and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Compensation:
$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all activities that take place on the retail sales floor
- Listen to customer complaints, diffuse tense situations and resolve any customer-facing issues
- Open and close the store and facilitate seamless shift turnovers

Coach and inspire employees to grow with the company
- Ensure that all customers are being treated with the highest level of customer service
- Perform cash drops and assist the General Manager with any cash management duties
- Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Maintain positive customer relationships to establish loyal customer base
- Maintain and routinely update knowledge of new product inventory and cannabis industry as a whole
- Process customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Be responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
Qualifications:
This role requires:
- MUST be able to pass a background check
- MUST be 21 years of age or older
- Ownership mindset – self-starters who know how to figure things out and know when to ask for help
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively handle a wide array of customers
- Professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, upper management and vendors
- High school diploma; associates degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree even better!
- Desire to learn about cannabis
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
- Ability to consistently work week days; flexibility to sometimes work nights, holidays and weekends
