Position Overview:
The Manager, Regional Marketing (the “Manager”) will work with the dispensaries and their Market Directors to build the Columbia Care patient/consumer community; coordinating and directing patient/consumer acquisition activities, as well as managing patient/consumer retention efforts. Working well as a collaborative team member is imperative to success in the role, as is the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are still being developed and maturing.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Leading local and regional marketing efforts including out of home, email, digital and social media, CRM, events, promotions, and other marketing tools to drive marketing commercial goals
- Coordinating, measuring and optimizing local awareness driving activities.
- Working with national brand leaders and local markets to plan and execute new patient/consumer acquisitions.
- Working with national Brand leaders and local markets to plan and execute loyalty efforts.
- Planning and coordinating with the dispensaries to execute regional promotional plans.
- Managing local PR, work with the Brand team to amplify national content as well as create regional relevant content.
- Building and guiding regional community and affinity group(s).
- Working with General Managers and Market Leaders across multiple states.
- Overseeing profitability, deliverables timelines and budget
- Presenting work product to the CGO, other Marketing leaders, General Managers and Market Leaders.
- Being a culture champion
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
- 3-5 years of experience creating and managing online and offline communities.
- Exceptional collaboration, influencing and presentation skills.
- Must work well under pressure and within tight timelines and shifting priorities
- Experience in working in FDA or state regulated products preferred, as is experience working in a startup environment.
- Medical marijuana product knowledge desired.
Travel: 10-20%
Additional Abilities Required:
- This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment. The ability to lift or move up to 5 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
