Objective
We are looking for a Operations Manager who is prepared to travel and will build and operate the Omura business in some of our most popular states. They will be principally responsible for the seamless set up and ongoing management of our flower partners’ operations and supply chain with a secondary role to support our partners’ marketing and sales activities. The mission is to evangelize and promote our pioneering technology, establishing Omura as the market leader for whole flower ‘heat-not-burn’ consumption. Directly reporting to VP Operations and working closely with the VP team – Business Development, Sales and training, Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation and maintenance of the Omura platform on our flower partners’ sites.
- Creating a timeline and scheduling installation for production and distribution of flower sticks.
- Ensuring production meets safety, quality and volume output goals.
- Good understanding of safety and OSHA regulations.
- Training flower partner staff to use our proprietary equipment and production.
- Be the main point of contact with flower partners in your region and maintain relationships.
- Manage recurring purchases with vendors for existing and new product lines.
- Work with appropriate team members and vendors to ensure product and equipment purchases are seamless.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop effective point of purchase displays & educational materials.
- Work inside the Netsuite ERP to log inventory receipts, work orders, assemblies, and production runs.
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics as well as develop and deliver regular reports to VP Operations.

- Able and willing to travel regularly. Mainly within Northern California, New England area and occasionally other states for national account needs. This is a road warrior position.
- Experience working with G-Suite applications such as Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Drive.
- Willing and able to work in a variety of conditions (field, plant, warehouse).
- Driving License (required).
- Authorization to work in the US (required).
Ideally Candidate also has:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years operations experience.
- Netsuite ERP/CRM experience

Objective
Omura is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to manage our newly established business in the state. Key objectives are to drive sales of Omura product in dispensaries and lead all educational and marketing activities, including bud-tender education, in-store events and pop-ups and other ad hoc marketing activities. The successful applicant will provide recommendations and feedback from the market, monitor and maintain adequate stock levels, oversee visual merchandising and actively seek out potential new business opportunities. in addition the successful applicant will lead the relationship with our current flower partner and work in conjunction with the business development team to introduce the Omura technology to new flower partners in the state. As the business develops the successful applicant will be required to recruit and manage a local team to support the business.
Responsibilities:
- Create a unique customer experience to increase brand awareness and build brand loyalty and ultimately drive in-store sales.
- Build the Omura dispensary network in conjunction with the Omura flower partners.
- Educate bud-tenders and consumers on the benefits of the Omura platform and its flower partners.
- Coordinate in-store demos with store managers / store owners.
- Communicate seasonal campaigns, events, and contests to all sales associates / store owners in your territory.
- Work with store decision makers to secure product display placement in hot zone locations and ensure visual excellence in each store within your territory.
- Assist team with research and gathering insights into assigned territory.
- Develop and deliver weekly, monthly, and ongoing reports as relevant for your territory.
- Be the eyes and ears of Omura from the field, report on observations regarding retail accounts.
- Support marketing events relevant to the brand and to the region.
- Identify, sell-in and manage new flower partners in the state.
- Seed and develop new relationships with store associates and bud-tenders.
- Amplify Omura initiatives through personal network and social media support.
- Work in compliance with state and city rules and regulations.
What you’ll bring to Omura:

- 2 years of relevant cannabis and/or retail sales experience preferred.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to sell our CBD range of flower sticks together with our Omura devices to health & wellness, CBD dispensaries, design and concept stores and fashion channels. They will be responsible for establishing Omura as the market leader for whole flower CBD ‘heat-not-burn’ consumption.
The CBD Sales Manager is responsible for managing and executing the sales, training and marketing functions for the Omura brand. He/She will work with our executive team and other sales staff to understand top-line sales targets and develop/implement an entire distribution program to penetrate retail as well as delivery within the territory.
Job Description:
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
· Develop & execute retail prospecting strategy for initial market penetration
· Target & pursue retail leads in line with our CBD product strategies
· Execute all outbound sales efforts, including identifying wholesale partnerships with both independent and national retailers
· Review, evaluate & respond to all retailer inquiries
· Onboard retailer accounts in accordance to company standards and individual retailer standards
· Process sales orders & coordinate shipping in conjunction with Omura Operations Team
· Provide superior customer service to all current & prospective retail partners
· Maintain segmented retailer directory
· Own retailer call cycle to ensure regular communication and develop e-CRM to maximize re-orders including but not limited to product launches, educational materials and key pieces of press

ANALYTICS
· Establish “Top 100 Account” strategy, managing account performance to support growth

· Maintain sales reports across all channels including DTC, subscription, wholesale & key national retailers on a weekly, monthly & annual basis
EDUCATION
· Develop & execute comprehensive brand education, product education & retailer trainings

COMPLIANCE & LOGISTICS
· Lead cross functional efforts to streamline logistics and supply chain needs

· Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager to effectively manage product inventory allocated for retailers during product innovation, development, launch & replenishment phases
· Onboard new national retailer accounts to ensure accuracy in compliance with retailer shipping & distribution standards

· We would also be open to applications from people with 5+ years of strong sales experience for a premium lifestyle brand but they must have a strong knowledge of cannabis and the cannabis industry
· Personal network of connections in the dispensary channel in the relevant territory preferred
· Analytical and reporting skills, organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects
· Motivated self-started with excellent people skills
· Strong verbal communication skills including experience with negotiating and presenting
· Creative problem-solving abilities and knowledge as it relates to the cannabis industry
