Position Summary
This Position will work directly under our Purchasing Manager. Be able to negotiate contract agreements, have working knowledge of product and services purchasing policies and practices, We are looking for someone with excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have 1 years plus experience in purchasing management. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, METRIC, POS AND G-SUITE is required. This position will be responsible for keeping a timeline for all deliveries. Work with our Inventory team on a daily basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Place material reorders in accordance with set min and max levels
- Record keeping of all transactions and inventory in according with SOPs.
- Ensure purchase orders, invoices and products are compliant with all state regulations and company policies.
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Obtain and maintain vendor contracts.
- Maintain record of supplier license and insurance documents.
- Assist in building out vendor onboarding standard operating procedures
- Analyze new business prospects.
- Maintain in full compliance with Medical Marijuana laws for all states, always.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Provide operational, clerical, and analytical support for Purchasing Department
- Research and compare vendor suppliers in existing and emerging markets
- Work well and effectively with fellow co-workers.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ACCEPTABLE EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desirable.
- Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
- Previous experience handling purchase request and creating purchase orders is desired.
- Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
- Basic cannabis product and material knowledge.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands
- Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials

- Must work in hot conditions with high humidity
- Lift 25-50 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
TIME MANAGEMENT: Must plan two to twelve weeks in advance, depending upon the directive given by the site supervisor.
STRESS MANAGEMENT: Periodic stress due to intermediate time deadlines and timely implementation of department particulars.
PUBLIC CONTACT: Effectively interact primarily with a broad range of people across many different arenas for the company.
RESPONSIBILITY: Work collaboratively with your supervisor in establishing, implementing, organizing, and evaluating an effective program.
