SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Clerk is a member of the Inventory Control Team which is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health and integrity of HERBL’s operational inventory across all technological systems as well as METRC. This team works closely with business units (Operations, Shared Services, Brand Operations, Purchasing and Compliance) to ensure all cross functional operations are interacting with HERBL inventory in an appropriate and compliant manner.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to, cycle counting of product, sample/demo kit production, assisting other WHS operational areas as needed, and product destruction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Assist with product destruction as directed by the IC Supervisor deemed necessary or required by the BCC
- Participates in the oversight of METRC standards and practices regarding METRC, any state of local quality assurance and inventory management platform
- Assist compliance team with receiving audits as needed
- Other assigned duties as deemed necessary to ensure HERBL Distribution operations maintains good standing for inventory reporting and regulatory compliance

Position Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for processing accurate and timely transactions and conducting Quality Assurance of all shop inventory. This includes cannabis and non-cannabis inventory. - Enter data and process transactions in Greenbits Inventory Management System.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) verification audits for both inbound orders
- Perform audits in the Greenbits system and effectively communicate and help resolve all discrepancies identified.
- Ensure that the QA Process and Business Process SOPs are in compliance; communicate any deviations immediately to management.
- Assist with problem-solving, determining root causes to transactional issues and developing appropriate sustainable solutions.

- Maintain files at the location, answer internal and external calls, use electronic equipment such as scanners, tablets, computers, printers, copiers, etc.

Job Summary (an outline of job responsibilities): As an Inventory Control Clerk you will intake product, issue payment to suppliers, process returns, maintain inventory storage areas, create menu tags for products, put products on display on the sales floor, take pictures of products for menus, interact with customers as needed, ensure product will ring up properly at the point of sale, and accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory in various company systems. All of these responsibilities ultimately facilitate sales to customers on the sales floor and maintain state required records in the traceability system for our industry.

Essential Functions (detailed tasks, duties, and responsibilities): Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the list below.
· Receive and account for inventory items, and accurately record data on the computer using various programs and systems.
· Pack and unpack inventory items for returns, intake and storage.
· Prepare and process any returns or rejects to suppliers as needed and record per procedures in company systems.
· Compile, review, store and maintain electronic and or physical data from suppliers regarding purchases and returns including but not limited to manifests, invoices and testing results.
· Maintain, clean and organize inventory storage areas in the back of the house.
· Create, maintain, correct and update product menu cards/price tags as needed. Monitors menu cards/price tags for accuracy regularly ensuring there are no handwritten items and that the information regarding products is professional and adheres to company procedures.
· Confirms that all products received into inventory have accurate, scannable labels at the point of sale.
· Confirms that all incoming deliveries match the expected order by reviewing project management platform and updates the system with progress as required.
· Issues payment to suppliers for product at the time of delivery.
· Takes pictures of products per company procedures.
· Puts product out on display in accordance with company procedures.
· Communicates and coordinates daily with suppliers, Store Manager, and other teammates in order to achieve shared business goals.
· Participates in various inventory audits.
Education and Experience (required levels): Minimum 1 year experience of clerical, data entry or inventory processing desired.
Physical Factors (type of environment): Indoors in a busy retail store environment. Reaching overhead, lifting up to 40 pounds, bending down, typing at a computer, reading documents, stocking, kneeling, bending, twisting, as well as standing and sitting for long periods of time.
Working conditions (shifts, overtime requirements as needed): Schedule, hours, and overtime requirements may change due to evolving business needs. Current schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am to 5 pm about 36 to 40 hours per week.

Inventory Control Clerk
Tactical Transport is a medical cannabis distribution company based in Tulsa, OK. Our fast moving, entrepreneurial company is seeking an inventory control clerk to manage our inventory tracking software and to update inventory on our Shopify website. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
What you'll do:
· Maintain accurate inventory balances by executing proper storage, movement, consumption, and counting processes.
· Complete accurate inventory count sheets and inventory adjustments.
· Key appropriate inventory adjustments to add, modify, or delete inventory in the NAV system to ensure ongoing accuracy.
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as directed by the supervisor, and as scheduled and investigate and/or correct any issues they arise.
· Perform item set up procedures in a timely manner.
· Reconcile physical and system records for operations and procurement team.
· Perform product verification tasks as required.
· Assist in inventory month-end physical count process.
· Analyze pick and put away error data to determine root causes.
· Assist management with product staging and warehouse layout.
· Encourage teams to drive safety awareness such as ensure formal risk assessments are conducted, hazards are closed, incidents investigated, and communicated.
· Maintain a safe work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures.
· Help to implement and enforce new processes put in place by management.

The PEOPLE’S Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands. The Inventory Control Clerk must be able to count and record all inventories and enter in a main database while minimizing excess supply.

Responsibilities:
Product Movement:
- Receive incoming product upon delivery
- All product movement such as intake, back stocking, recalls, RA’s, etc. follows all state regulations as well as People’s policies and procedures
- Tracking inventory as requested by Inventory Supervisor/Manager such as discrepancies within reporting, recalls, etc.
- Reporting all potential indications of loss, diversion or theft as soon as noticed

Record and report overall facility waste per BCC regulations and Company Procedure
Operations:
- Process the returns, submit reporting to Purchasing and ship out returns by targeted deadline each month

Report Inventory using Metrc
- Assist with compliance audits
Sale Floor Operations:
- Daily restocking of sales floor in order to maximize sales
- Assist with sales floor organization to increase efficiency

Storage of all inventory to be complaint with BCC and People’s policies and procedures
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace in all areas of the store
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a related industry

Associates Degree in related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in technology software, desktop electronics, MS Office
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
