Dispensary Agent
The Dispensary Agent is responsible for supporting the Dispensary Manager with the day-to-day operations of a dispensary facility in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Policies, Procedures & Daily Operations
- Policy and Procedure implementation, including adherence to CCC regulations
- Daily cash and product reconciliation
- Product information updates and education
- Follow cash handling procedures
- Work closely with DM/AM/Leads on all dispensary operations
- Complete daily 1-minute meeting with team members.
- Ensure the best possible consumer service is provided

Dispensing Agent – Grassroots Vermont
The Dispensing Agent supports the Manager of Patient Services with all clinical and operational functions of the Grassroots Vermont Dispensary. Dispensing Agents must promote a work environment that is positive, patient service-oriented and compliant within the requirements of the state law and Grassroots Vermont. Additionally, the Dispensing Agent may perform administrative duties. This position reports to the Manger of Patient Services.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Execute all Grassroots Vermont's Patient Services Policies and Procedures including, safety protocols.
· Provides outstanding registered Patient and/or Caregiver service.
· Knowledge of Vermont Marijuana Registry regulations.
· Responsible for the cleanliness as well as opening and closing duties of the Dispensary.
· Works with patients to schedule new appointments and follow up appointments.
· Verifies all Patient and/or Caregiver including purchasing limits when booking appointments.
· Answer phones, take and distribute messages, as needed.
· Works with patients to complete intake packets and data entry into registry’s system of record. Including, but is not limited, to adding to and updating patients’ records, change in demographics, and financial status.
· Ensures all Patient and/or Caregiver records are up to date, both in the state tracking system and hard copy.
· Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Patient Services.
Requirements:
· 21 years of age or older.
· Must pass a state-mandated background check.
· Must have a high school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service role; healthcare field a plus
· 1-3 years of cash handling or payment posting experience.
· Accustomed to working with a diverse population.
· Must have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
· Ability to prioritize work.
