Role Overview
This person will assist in the planning, scheduling, and management of our cannabis cultivation center in Fargo, ND. You will assist in the planning and direct an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Ensure performance, volume and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Manage staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations for production, building codes, and safety. Responsibilities in this area include the following areas:
Leadership
Maintain company culture consistent with company expectations
Recruit, hire, train and develop all team members
Set expectations and hold team members accountable
Provide regular feedback to team members
Conduct personnel reviews per company schedules
De-hire when needed
Schedule shifts for all personnel via weekly scheduled template
Coordinate and plan team meetings as needed
Coordinate and assist all departments with training of staff
HR
Maintain proper HR records including what is needed to remain in compliance
Coordinate training as needed
Approve t-sheets per person bi-monthly at end of payroll period
Operations & Compliance
Ensure building is operated per plan
Plan product production
Monitor and adjust inventory plan as needed
Oversee sales, growing, processing, harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, packaging, fulfillment and delivery
Oversee physical environment including equipment and systems
Learn and maintain continual awareness and understanding of complete set of specific rules and regulations determined by the law and by the commission
Work with various departments to insure entity always remains compliant
Promote the safe and efficient operation of all departments and their teams
Understanding of DOH and OSHA rules and regulations
Analysis
Create and maintain business reports as needed including sales, inventory, product planning and more
Tracking and monitoring of each departments KPI’s, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives
Perform analysis to spot trends, issues and opportunities
Procurement
Maintain appropriate levels of supplies and other needed facility items
Procure all necessary supplies and equipment as needed
Verify receipt of all supplies and communicate with accounting regarding pricing, quantities and dating
Financial
Run building and business per budget
Insure incoming cash is counted and deposited per plan
Senior team
Coordinate and execute team meetings as needed
Lead strategic discussions about building, operations, execution, sales, etc.
Misc.
Be available at all times in case of emergency as it relates to the facility and the equipment within
Promote the mission, vision and values of the company to all team members at all times
