Job Summary
SV Labs, LLC, a cannabis safety compliance facility, has a new opening for an Analytical Chemist Technician at its Toledo, OH location. The facility will provide chemistry and microbiology testing services for cannabis cultivators and processors as mandated by the state of Ohio’s Medical Marijuana Control Program (MMCP) for cannabinoid potency, residual solvents, terpenes, heavy metals, and pesticides.
The Chemistry Technician will be responsible for the sample preparation, analysis, and initial review of data. A technician should be able to work with little to no direct oversight once defined tasks are assigned. Technicians will assist is daily and weekly instrument maintenance. Performs at a high degree of professional excellence including but not limited to sound, independent judgment, reliability, initiation, flexibility, and interpersonal relationships and communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Primarily responsible for one or more assays or instruments at a time:
- Performs quality control procedures according to established protocols.
- Performs remedial actions and records all quality control failures and corrective actions according to established protocol.
- Performs and logs instrument maintenance according to established protocols.
- Perform calibration of instruments as necessary and ensure calibration period is adequate to cover testing.
- Calculates results according to established protocol and enters results into the laboratory reporting system.
- Follows established protocols for sample prep, analysis, and quality controls.
- Prioritizes work effectively.
- Processes requests and investigates complaints from senior staff. Reports all issues and concerns to the Laboratory Manager.
- Demonstrates troubleshooting skills.
- Participates in method validation for new procedures and/or equipment.
- Participates in developing/writing new standard operating procedures and revising old ones.
- Maintains a clean work area and disinfects all counter tops at end of shift, fills out cleaning log according to department protocol.
- Adheres to laboratory and facility safety practices, including but not limited to OSHA and hazardous chemicals training and monitoring.
- Cooperates and effectively communicates with laboratory, facility, and other personnel.
- Answers inquiries regarding test results, methodologies, test specificity, test sensitivity, and factors that can influence test results.
- Assists in development of new policies and procedures.
- Takes inventory and notifies appropriate personnel when stock is low.

Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or other related field.
- At least 21 years old and can pass a background check.
- Ability to read and comprehend English and comprehend and follow oral and/or written instructions.
- Good communication skills in both written and oral form.
- Reasoning skills to apply principles to draw valid conclusions, interpret technical instructions, etc.
- Ability to handle high stress levels due to working conditions and possible irregular hours.

- Any other assays they have been signed off on, they can be a backup analyst for.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform Quality Inspections on products, equipment, and procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring cannabis product quality and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for performing verification of sanitation, equipment and other areas as required.
- Responsible for auditing the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation completed by staff.
- Ensures the correct guidelines for production are followed during operations.
- Ensures employees are following all SOP’s, Work Instructions, and worker safety practices.
- Assist Quality Manager with instructing employees on Quality Improvements or Issues.
- Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.

- Support review and approval of batch record documentation, including validation protocols, master batch records, analytical test results, packaging, and labeling documentation.

- Familiarity with FDA regulations and/or operating in a regulated environment preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform Quality Control Inspections on products, equipment, and procedures.- May perform or assist inventory management personnel with inventory audits when needed.
- Responsible for monitoring product cannabis safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Responsible for performing verification on equipment and other areas required.
- Responsible for auditing the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation completed by staff.
- Ensures the correct guidelines for production are followed during operations.
- Ensures employees are following all SOP’s, Work Instructions, and worker safety practices.
- Assist Quality Manager with instructing employees on Quality Improvements or Issues
- Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
- Support team members on quality management program to ensure there is an in-depth understanding of program and individual responsibilities.
- Provide support to GMP production operations, including conducting SOPs, training, and serve as resource to operations for quality controls and GMP compliance.
- Support improvement and alignment of the Quality Management Systems at site level.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with safety rules, applicable SOPs, and other relevant guidelines.
- Support all staff in data collection and analysis, reporting activities that support quality improvement interventions, transparency, compliance regulatory standards and provide performance monitoring.
- Support review and approval of batch record documentation, including validation protocols, master batch records, analytical test results, packaging, and labeling documentation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with FDA regulations and/or operating in a regulated environment preferred.- Attention to detail and ability to record numerical data and understand nomenclature and lot/Batch numbering systems.
- Ability to be flexible and provide support to any department within the organization as required by Operations leadership.
- Must be able to read and write in English and the ability to perform basic calculations.
- Microsoft Office skills
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.

The Role
The Maintenance Manager for Green Thumb Industries reports directly to the General Manager. The Role
This position is responsible for delivering cannabis products to GTI's customers within the state of Illinois. This position will also assist production in various departments when not on the road.

The Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to the patients of our Toledo, OH dispensary. In this role, you'll serve as the onsite medical authority, ensuring patients receive correct dosage along with a healthy amount of education and counseling. Job Summary
SV Labs, LLC, a cannabis safety compliance facility, has a new opening for an Analytical Chemist Technician at its Toledo, OH location. The facility will provide chemistry and microbiology testing services for cannabis cultivators and processors as mandated by the state of Ohio’s Medical Marijuana Control Program (MMCP) for cannabinoid potency, residual solvents, terpenes, heavy metals, and pesticides.
The Chemistry Technician will be responsible for the sample preparation, analysis, and initial review of data. A technician should be able to work with little to no direct oversight once defined tasks are assigned. Technicians will assist is daily and weekly instrument maintenance. Performs at a high degree of professional excellence including but not limited to sound, independent judgment, reliability, initiation, flexibility, and interpersonal relationships and communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Primarily responsible for one specific assay/instrument at a time.
- Performs quality control procedures according to established protocols.
- Performs remedial actions and records all quality control failures and corrective actions according to established protocol.
- Performs and logs instrument maintenance according to established protocols.

The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is a critical role on Green Thumb's People Team. This role will be based out of our Toledo OH and support our Production facility(ies) as we look to rapid and sustainable scale. The HRM aligns business objectives, HR strategy and talent to scale our rapid growth. Responsibilities

Qualifications

The Position of the Quality & Compliance Specialist for the Toledo, OH CPG site is designed to improve and maintain the current Quality and Compliance Management System in place. This position will play a key role in overseeing, developing, implementing, and upgrading the quality system while learning how to oversee local, state, and federal regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Quality Department and ensure all employees understand and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Define, implement, and improve the Quality Management System including development of process and product testing to ensure quality standards are met and oversee determination of finished product disposition.
- Partner with management to lead quality initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and compliant quality system.

Job Summary
SV Labs, LLC, a cannabis safety compliance testing company, has a new opening for a Laboratory Scientific Director in Toledo, OH. The facility will provide chemistry and microbiology testing services for cannabis cultivators and processors as mandated by the state of Arizonia Department of Health Services for cannabinoid potency, chemical residue, mycotoxins, residual solvents, terpenes, heavy metals, and microbial contamination.
The Lab Director is responsible for the planning and operational performance of the laboratory. The laboratory in Toledo, OH is new and will require some validation and verification of methods. The role oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures compliance standards for quality and safety. The Lab Director is accountable for knowing the following all state regulations, federal, company procedures, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. In addition, the Lab Director is responsible for communication with other Laboratory Managers/Directors within the company to help support organizational and method growth throughout the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the analyst and technician team promoting a supportive environment that provides high productivity. This includes but not limited to hiring, coaching, and performance management, and employment status.
- Manage laboratory operations including validating assays, process evaluation, production flow, equipment maintenance requirements, and personnel scheduling and assignments.
- Ensures all practices are done within the state, ISO/IEC 17025, and company regulations and procedures.
- Client relationships including sales, consultations, sample turn around, and open availability for client communication.

- Review of testing data and final accumulation of data for certificate of analysis reporting.
- Partners with the Quality Assurance to assure method and SOP compliance.

- Develop, plan, implement, and support Grower, Processor, and Manufacturing Systems such as Manufacturing Resource Planning and Manufacturing Execution integrating with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

The Role
As a manufacturing facility Plant Controller with Green Thumb, you will be an integral part of the plant management team as well as a key member of the Operations Finance team. As such, this position requires direct involvement in both plant operations and accounting/finance activities and initiatives as required. Duties include overall responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational management information to be used in reporting financial results as well as managing the facility, and more specifically as follows;
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing of financials for facility in accordance with GAAP and Company policy
- Prepare monthly analysis of financial results including variance / bridging analysis in coordination with the facility GM and operational staff
- Coordination and oversight of physical inventories, SOX, and audits with plant sites
- Prepare daily/weekly labor utilization plan, including headcount and overtime reporting
- Lead and prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts comparing projected results to prior year, budget and previous forecasts
- Coordinate evaluation of capital projects and approval process
- Maintain fixed asset register: record new assets, transfers or retirements and calculate monthly depreciation figures
- Perform operational analysis, trend projections and forecasting
- Lead site level financial meetings, participate in site level leadership meetings, provide financial visibility to business partners for decision making
- Review site performance and KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes.
- Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs
- Provide reports and data to manufacturing department heads to assist them in managing their department expenses (including, but not limited to spending reports, operating reports, and variance analyses)

Curriculum Developer for Cannabis Dispensary Administration Program

Stautzenberger College is looking for a curriculum developer for their new Cannabis Dispensary Administration program. Candidate must have some experience in cannabis dispensary administration.
This position is a contract position, which means that you are paid by course, and not by the hour, and will not be eligible to receive overtime pay. A check will be paid to you upon delivery to the Company of the final agreed upon course materials which include, but are not limited too:
- PowerPoint content for each course
- Weekly quizzes and answer key
- Final Exam and answer key
- Weekly graded homework assignments and rubric
- Writing assignment that utilizes the learning resources (on-line or on-ground)

Role Overview

Role Overview
Grassroots Cannabis is looking for an Operation Manager who can become an integral part of our organization and grow with our company. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative and passionate, able to beat deadlines and find answers when it appears there are none.
Role Responsibilities
- Breakdown cured batches and extracted oil from the lab into multiple different weight increments (3.5 g, 7 g, ½ g and 1 g etc.) and package them accordingly
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day
- Other duties as assigned: cleaning rooms tables, containers, floors, lifting and moving items 50lbs or more.
- Manage an accurate inventory of site materials
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivered to the site on time, stored and stocked for efficient picking and use
- Create a stocking plan and strategy for site locations to improve product flow and inventory visibility
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training and safety records
- Resolve problems relating to inventory, logistics systems, transportation, or customer issues
- Control inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts
- Maintain physical condition of storage by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Partner with transportation teams for product transfers, identify and implement process improvements
- Safeguards logistics operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Manage logistics and materials costs, drive cost-productivity savings
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

Role Overview
Grassroots Cannabis is looking for a Processing Technician who can become an integral part of our organization and grow with our company. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative and passionate, able to beat deadlines and find answers when it appears there are none.
This newly created role will work to perform cannabis harvesting, drying, and trimming. This person will also be responsible for operating cannabis extraction equipment safely.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials
- Clean glassware and sensitive equipment
- Work at a fast pace in a high production environment
- Lift heavy loads up to 70lbs
- Operate technical machinery
- Perform general maintenance of equipment, tools and workspace
- Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory
Role Requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to keep to a tight schedule
- Must be proficient with computers
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a state-issued cultivation badge, which includes passing a background check free of felony convictions
- Must possess the physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required to accomplish duties
