POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities of Cannabis Trimmer/Packager:
- Efficiently processes flowers during the post-production phase:
- Preparing and trimming in a quick, precise, and dexterous manner
- Maintaining high quality appearance and structural integrity of the cannabis plant

- Assisting in the product transferring into the dry room

- Maintain inventory accurately, in inventory systems including but not limited to Metrc. Performs data entry into digital inventory system (i.e. Leaflogix and METRC).
- Ensures accurate and consistent communication with managers and leads
Performs any additional duties as deemed necessary by management

Over 10 years of operations, Terrapin has grown into a multi-state company with nearly 400 employees. As we have expanded nationally, our need for a Concentrate Packager has grown significantly.
At the direction of the Laboratory Manager and the MIP Packaging Supervisor, the Concentrate Packager is responsible for weighing individual units of finished concentrates, applying required regulatory labels to concentrate containers, and boxing finished products in the marketing layer displayed in stores. The Concentrate Packager is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures with an emphasis on regulatory related processes such as SOPs and safety to meet the business needs of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for weighing out individual units of finished concentrates of various consistencies into concentrate containers.
Responsible for maintaining a clean workspace, including infrastructure and equipment.
Responsible for placing required regulatory labels on finished concentrate containers.
Responsible for identifying products that do not meet the quality standards of the company and reporting issues to the MIP Packaging Supervisor.
Responsible for accurately counting and reporting finished concentrate units for each production batch.
Responsible for wearing appropriate PPE to prevent product contamination.
Assist other departments as needed

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company, support the overall operation of the production department through completion of the finished packaging of marijuana concentrates and infused products manufactured by the Production Department.

Job Summary:
The Packager assembles and packages concentrates and flower products. Under the direction of the Packaging Manager, the Packager weighs, measures and packages cannabis products for resale while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality and sanitation. - Trimming marijuana flower and packaging across the company production departments for the company RMDs and home delivery orders
- Executing the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products
- Auditing and recording all weights of all cannabis material given by Production Lead from start to order completion on the appropriate Control Sheet. Immediately informing Production Lead of any discrepancies in weights
- Coordinating waste disposal upon completion of each order and ensure policies and procedures for waste disposal are adhered to.
- Working with Cultivation Team to assist in harvests as needed
- Monitoring, cleaning and maintaining all trim and packaging equipment and operate all equipment safely in its intended manner.
- Ensure compliance at all times with all sanitation regulations and safety standards in the production of all extracted products produced by the company as set in the company’s Policy and Procedure Manuals

Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh and package cannabis products, while paying close attention to detail for quality.
- Ensure all packaging and labels are compliant with State/County laws as well as Metrc entries.
- Ensure products are sealed and labeled properly.
- Accurately complete inventory counts on a day to day basis.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow specific instructions according to company policies.
- Communicate with management and team throughout projects.
- Perform quality control and identify nonconforming materials.
- Self-motivation and initiative for tasks that need completion.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Summary
The Production Technician , reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, is responsible for executing and maintaining all daily operations of the Production and Packaging Department to achieve the company initiatives. Additionally, the Production Technician maintains the policies and procedures of the company and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Trimming marijuana flower and packaging across the company production departments for the company RMDs and home delivery orders
- Executing the preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products
- Auditing and recording all weights of all cannabis material given by Production Lead from start to order completion on the appropriate Control Sheet. Immediately informing Production Lead of any discrepancies in weights
- Coordinating waste disposal upon completion of each order and ensure policies and procedures for waste disposal are adhered to.
- Working with Cultivation Team to assist in harvests as needed
- Monitoring, cleaning and maintaining all trim and packaging equipment and operate all equipment safely in its intended manner.
- Ensure compliance at all times with all sanitation regulations and safety standards in the production of all extracted products produced by the company as set in the company’s Policy and Procedure Manuals
Rate of Pay: $17.25 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs
