CLSICS is offering an exciting opportunity for a strategic, happy, healthy, vibrant, outgoing, self motivated individual to oversee and execute our core marketing initiatives. Our office is located in San Diego, CA. This is Monday through Friday in person, salary position that operates out of our production facility in Miramar. There is minimal additional travel, all within the State of California.
The Marketing Manager will directly oversee and execute various marketing activities including social media, email marketing, website management, digital advertising, in-store marketing and merchandising and more. You will be instrumental in helping to shape the direction and future of the marketing department while providing support for field sales team, strengthening our relationships with dispensaries and consumers through marketing and promotion partnerships with dispensaries.
The ideal Field Team Manager would posses the following traits:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Office
- Ability to analyze and forecast business trends
- Knowledge or experience of the cannabis industry is a major plus

- Monthly sample order for BA staff appreciation samples
- Plan and request marketing collateral for BAs

As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll...
- Work closely with, collaborate and support our existing 3rd party sales and distribution partner
- Grow both the number of dispensaries carrying our product as well as their frequency in orders and product categories within your specified territory
- Oversee that our marketing efforts are properly launched in all new and existing accounts
- Manage a small team of Brand Ambassadors that will execute in store activations and budtender trainings
- Build and execute comprehensive partnerships and programming with assigned accounts
- When needed, travel to dispensaries to present product portfolio to managers and buyers
- Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with ordering process
- Work closely with dispensaries to make new placements and expand brand presence inside assigned accounts
- Meet individual goals and collaborate with other regional sales manager and the brand ambassador team to successfully meet team goals
- Manage revenue and distribution targets and reporting for respective territory and identify opportunity and gaps of growth with the current portfolio.

What we're looking for...
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer and/or cannabis is
strongly preferred

ISA’s are instrumental in helping to shape the direction and future of our company while providing support for the marketing and sales team strengthening our relationships with dispensaries and consumers through relationship building, product education and representing the positive virtues of CLSICS solventless rosin products.**You will be required to run consumer facing ISA events at our partnered retail locations. You will be representing our lifestyle and products through marketing and customer events. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Work with your manager to schedule and set up ISA’s with our dispensary partners.
- Work at dispensaries as scheduled educating consumers on CLSICS solventless rosin products
- Educate consumers on the features and benefits, pricing and current ISA offers of CLSICS solventless rosin products,.
- Generate on-site sales and manage sell-through at ISA events.
- Collect store audits and activation data.
- Educate consumers and store employees on products, services, features, pricing, and upcoming events.
- Serve as a boots-on-the-ground representative to our top tier accounts and support the marketing and sales teams in strengthening retailer and consumer relationships.
- Engage with consumers at ISA events to enable informed buying decisions and grow brand loyalty through a positive personal human experience.
- Build and maintain consumer and buyer relationships
- Measure promotional efficiency and help improve our ISA campaigns through insights gained in the retail environment
- Track and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and report progress to your manager.
- Maintain working knowledge of CLSICS solventless rosin products in order to be a subject matter expert and educator.
- Make recommendations to retailers to improve promotional activities and ensure brand integrity.
- Engage in Social Media activities as defined by CLISCS
- Learning on the Fly, being self sufficient, keeping up on CLSICS solventless rosin products, local industry events, trends and competition.
- Share feedback and ideas about the consumer.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays when applicable. (schedules are set in advance).
- The ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds and perform manual tasks may also be required.
- Be on-site and on time for all In-Store Activation events.
- Create an environment that makes guests and our partners feel comfortable to explore, learn and ask questions.
- Provide a memorable experience at ISA events.
