Duties and Responsibilities
Package multiple different kinds of concentrates in a variety of ways.
Package multiple different kinds of edibles in a variety of ways.
Assist with Order Fulfillment & product preparation for both in-house sales and external business to business relations.
Weigh and record product quantities with precision and accuracy, as well as appropriately manage Inventory records and all materials containing packaging and sales.
Adhere to strict safety and sanitary practices and protocols.
Learn, execute, and uphold product quality standards.
Assist in post-processing extracted products.Ability to understand AMCO regulations and continue to uphold state compliance.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
Assist at marketing events and apply relationship/rapport building principles and best practices to advance a positive experience and on-going relationship with customers and consumers.
Provide consumers cannabis information and educational resources regarding different products, methods of administration, effects, and precautions related to their consumption of marijuana products.Job Details
- Raspberry Root’s manufacturing lab extracts, processes, mixes, and creates different cannabis products ranging from concentrates, to vapes, to edibles like gummies and mints.
- This job is fast pace and high energy. There is a lot of tedious, repetitive work that requires focus and extreme attention to detail.
- There are a wide variety of Growth opportunities at Raspberry Roots. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis and looking to take the time and training necessary to advance within the Department.
- Schedule is Thursday thru Monday 9:00am – 5:00pm
- There is no parking on site. Employees utilize an in-house shuttle from an offsite parking location.
- There is a No Smoking Policy. From the time one shows up to work through the time they leave, one may not smoke cigarettes.
- Requirements include, but are not limited to;
- State Issued Marijuana Handler’s Card- Also requires background check
- Over 21 years old
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Ability to focus and stay on long tasks
- Attention to detail.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Quick learner and have a willingness to be coach-able
- Must be able to occasionally lift 40+ pounds.
- High school diploma or GED
- Compensation is $13 - $15 depending on experience

This job opportunity is for an Lab Manufacturing Manager for a Fully Licensed Cannabis manufacturing plant.
In this current role, the Lab Manufacturing Manager will oversee and be responsible for all types of extracts from our cannabis products. The Lab Manufacturing Manager is accountable for all aspects of the laboratory operations and employee management. As such, the Lab Manufacturing needs to have a broad knowledge of systems integration, workplace optimization, compliance disciplines, employee allocation, laboratory and facility operations including intake, prepping, extracting, processing, andpackaging. The Lab Manufacturing Manager must monitor and maintain production facility in accordance with compliance standards set by California.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely production of products
- Ensures consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures
- Preparation of equipment and plant materials for extraction
- Execution of extraction and processing in accordance with state and local standards
- Operation of sophisticated extraction equipment
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment
- Proficient with Metrc, the state mandated seed to sale software
- Operating, maintaining, adjusting and repairs to extraction equipment
- Storing supplies, equipment and disposal of waste according to guidelines
- Complete the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment, work surfaces, and tools
- Maintaining material safety data sheets for all chemicals and products
- Ensures cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the production area
- Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding product creation and lab safety
- Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products
- Works with testing laboratory as defined by state guidelines
- Provides frequent technical training and coaching for team members
- Participate in developing and implementing rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees
- Ensures compliance with state and local regulations and testing requirements; develops SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and consistent processes
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- College degree in Chemistry or equivalent highly preferred, or equivalent industry experience required
- 1-4 years’ experience managing and cannabis manufacturing plant and making extracts.
- Familiarity with extraction methods as well as the purification, separation and isolation of various compounds of cannabis
- Experience in data entry, data management ideal, METRC software experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner
- Proficiency with MS Office in a windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented
- Strong business acumen including excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
- Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
