Overview:
This individual is responsible for assisting all customers and patrons in an outgoing and friendly manner in making their educated purchases in accordance with the Vermont Cannabis Control Board, Vermont State Regulations and Magic Mann’s Organizational Policies. - Conducting transactions and processing payments for Purchases
- Weighing of any flower products and proper packaging

Cannabis Community College is an online educational platform designed to certify cannabis industry employees in all aspects of the cannabis industry. We have recently expanded our platform to all 37 legal cannabis markets in the United States. We provide employees, employers and job seekers the tools they need to be state certified in compliance, regulations and standard operating procedures in order to work in the following 3 departments: Dispensary, Cultivation and Manufacturing/Production Kitchen.
We are evolving our platform to include more education than just the state required compliance and SOPs. We are currently seeking cannabis industry experts to teach elective courses about any cannabis specific subject that they have an expert level of knowledge in. Courses are recorded online so that students can access the courses and take them at their convenience. We pay hourly for the curriculum to be set up and royalties for each course that is sold on the platform. Our educators only put in about 4-5 hours a week and are currently receiving anywhere from $2500 a month to over $10,000 a month depending on the course and its popularity among our students.

Job Responsibilities
- Create a one of a kind patient experience with a goal to live our mission to help all our patients find their wellness and improved quality of life.
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence in all dealings and communications, whether over the phone or in person.
- Work closely with your team to honor, serve and care for patient needs, explaining the process and helping them work toward achieving their goal of wellness.

- Assist physician by conducting one on one, no judgement consultation / assessment of patient, reviewing the following: qualifying condition, patient medical history, patient details, ie age physical condition, state of mind, educate patient on routes of administration and therapeutic components of plant, review patient chart for completion, and identify patients that require Cannabis Educator follow up.
- Investigate and audit product usage as deemed necessary.
- Know and follow protocols and procedures ensuring correct steps are being followed to reflect regulatory and compliance standards and report findings to management.
- Thoroughly document and report all patient issues, complaints and high-risk encounters immediately to management Build and maintain relationships with local dispensaries through in person and ongoing opportunities.
- Provide ongoing product training to educate the Kaya team.
- Create and facilitate in person marketing engagements with the community.
- Manage office educational materials. Assist in creation of targeted marketing materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement by being flexible and open to growth and development, cross training with other positions.
- Know and understand various computer programs and platforms used to manage practice.
- All other duties as assigned to support Kaya Life.
Requirements
- College Degree preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in cannabis education preferred
- Extensive knowledge and experience of medicinal cannabis products and its therapeutic values.
- A love for helping and caring for people and interacting with many varying personalities
- Confident, dependable and trustworthy individual with keen attention to detail and follow through
- Organization and initiative, good communications skills, proactive, problem-solving, time management, discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn our chosen software

Cannabis Educators are the face of High Society Everett. As the primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating an exceptional customer experience through unparalleled service and outstanding knowledge.
