It is our belief that an educated worker will appreciate their daily tasks more and by having a better understanding of the process, they will help us grow a better product. What will be required of you is a positive attitude and willingness to learn these skills to be successful. As Regional Director of Rocky Mountain Cannabis’s New Mexico market, you will be responsible for managing the operations of multiple stores within the region. Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, hiring, and training store managers, setting store-specific sales goals, tracking sales performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring that the stores adhere to company policies as well as industry regulations.
Because our New Mexico market is new, this position will have a unique responsibility when it comes to developing and implementing store operations and processes, training programs, and assisting in facilitating new store launches.
Note: Due to the amount of travel between southern New Mexico stores, the ideal candidate for this position will reside in the southern part of the state.
Job Duties -

The General Manager will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to provide strategic oversight of Company’s retail store operations. You will implement policies and procedures that increase operational effectiveness and maximize long-term store performance and will be an expert in analyzing business performance metrics and translating it into actionable business results. The General Manager will be one of the key drivers for cross-functional alignment of the retail function and provide the retail team with the leadership to enable development of their professional competencies. This person will strive to consistently meet (and exceed) financial and operational expectations with a goal to ultimately drive sales and customer/patient engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with the Director of Operations and the executive team to build and execute the retail strategy with specific focus on driving brand awareness of Company’s portfolio brands
Strategically ensure consistent retail experience and customer/patient engagement across key functions: Merchandising, Marketing, Training, Compliance, Human Resources, and Finance
Adhere to and promote a culture of compliance as it pertains to state and company regulations
Become an expert in all cannabis state-specific rules, regulations and laws. Execute and enforce compliance
Lead cannabis product procurement and develop processes related thereto
Oversee the purchasing, pricing and sale of all inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis

Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of retail management
Cannabis experience a plus
Comfort reading and interpreting regulations, laws and compliance-related matters
Must have maintained P&L responsibility for significant retail operations
Expertise managing high-growth, multi-site retail locations
Prior experience scaling a retail organization, including management of systems and processes
Financial, mathematical, statistical and consumer research experience required to read, interpret and understand how internal and external factors influence financial results
Proven experience utilizing data to effectively drive business decisions

To be successful as a Cannabis Caregiver, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in medicinal cannabis laws and regulations to maintain legal compliance. - Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the workspace and tools.

- Corroborate that every patient record is complete with their updated documentation in the physical and digital record.
- Help, in any way possible, with the inventory being received.
- Orient patients about the proper use of medicinal cannabis products and tailor the recommendation to their needs.
- Ensure that every product has their corresponding barcode at all times.
- Answer phone calls and take patient orders.
- Update Weedmaps on daily basis.
- Check the orders made on Weedmaps and IHeartMaryJane, and prepare them before the patient arrives.
