Seven Point Farms is looking for a Budtender / Customer Service Associate for our Socorro Dispensary. Currently we are hiring for FT and PT. Under general supervision provides exceptional care of Seven Point Farms medical marijuana patients by providing helpful product knowledge and education. Sell a wide range of accessories and provide accurate advice on product. Greet and check-in patients as they enter the store. Assist patients in identifying the products and the best method of consumption. Develop and build patient relationships.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sell a wide range of accessories and provide accurate advice on product, addressing patient questions and concerns as needed.
2. Assist patients in identifying the product and methods of consumption best for them. Explain processes and inform patients of promotions, sales, new products, popular products and relevant products.
3. Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations and laws. Understand and apply city and state requirements for compliant handling, sales and transactions of cannabis products. Ensure HIPPA compliance and confidentiality for all patients.
4. Greet and check-in patients as they enter the store verifying identification for age and residency status; politely decline those whose identification does not adhere to city and state requirements.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Acting as the face of the dispensary, greeting patients

- Maintain product knowledge and industry knowledge.
- Greeting customers warmly when they enter the retail environment.
- Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system in person and for placing phone / express orders.
- Perform correct cash handling and count application procedures.
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles.
- Adhere to HIPPA guidelines while providing excellent customer service.
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers.
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Must meet the age requirement of 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass any and all background checks required by the state (IL) to acquire a dispensary agent badge.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn state specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance is required.
- Prior knowledge or desire to learn about cannabis products and therapies.
- 1 - 3 years of customer service and retail experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Open availability and can work a flexible schedule; including holidays, weekends and evenings.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications and basic computer skills.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
Background Check:
As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit to a fingerprint-based criminal history background check. Employment decisions, in compliance with state law, are based on a candidate’s background report, approval by The Division and issuance of an Agent Identification Card. No person shall enter a dispensary to begin work at a dispensary prior to holding an Agent Identification Card. Employees have a duty to report any changes in their background to their Manager as soon as the employee is aware of the event.
