The K-Lab Production Specialist is responsible for multifunctional support of production and packaging of our infused products. The K-Lab Production Specialist completes tasks assigned by the K-Lab Manager. Day-to-day tasks include prepping, cleaning, cooking, labeling, and operating production and packaging machinery.
Responsibilities
- Complete simple math computations, accurately follow and understand recipes, and execute large-scale production of various cannabis-infused edibles
- Operate kitchen equipment such as scales, mixers, cooktops, commercial ovens, packaging and sealing equipment, etc.
- Must have high attention to detail when creating, packaging, and labeling product is required
- Maintain standards of sanitation, kitchen hygiene, and food service safety techniques in order to follow proper health department rules and regulations, FTLOC’s HACCP plan, and regulatory sanitation and safety procedures
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required
- Ensure all kitchen utensils and containers are washed and put back in proper storage area
- Understand basic MRA rules and requirements for testing, packaging, labeling, and shipping
- Properly follow and record operational procedures to comply with METRC requirements and FTLOC’s SOPs
- Communicate with inventory team for METRC compliance and labeling of all steps of edible production, from raw THC material to finished product
- Consistently create and ensure high-quality product
- Assist in other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check
- 1+ years experience in commercial kitchen, food manufacturing or equivalent experience
- Previous cannabis edibles manufacturing experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain ServSafe Food Handler certificate
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Must have excellent manual dexterity and impeccable personal hygiene

Cannabis Consultant
We are looking to employ a Cannabis Consultant to assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products. The responsibilities of the Cannabis Consultant include greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer concerns. You will be trained to answer customers’ questions regarding the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods of consumption. We offer curbside service. This includes working outside in the all forms of weather.
To be successful as a Cannabis Consultant, you should keep abreast of the latest developments in cannabis laws to maintain legal compliance. Ultimately, and outstanding Cannabis Consultant should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases.
Cannabis Consultant Responsibilities:
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and research.
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
Cannabis Consultant Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 21 Years of age
- Experience not required/ location will train
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Full time or part time
- Shifts are as follows; 9am-3pm / 3pm-9pm / 9am-9pm *negotiable with hiring manager
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
