This position is for laboratory intake of cannabis and cannabis products being tested for compliance under NJ state regulations. Under the supervision of the Sample Manager, the laboratory intake technician will perform various routine tasks associated with receipt of cannabis samples into the laboratory. GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Intake Laboratory Technician will be part of a small, collaborative group, but must also be comfortable working independently in a high throughput testing environment. The Technician is responsible for sample intake and accessioning of samples.

Role & Responsibilities:
- The Intake Technician I is responsible for supporting the intake, inspection, and verification of cannabis and non-cannabis supplies needed to ensure continuous production. - For non-cannabis supplies being received, this includes packing slip verifications and quality inspections to determine if the supplies are accepted/rejected. Non-cannabis supplies being received currently includes, but is not limited to: butane, liquid nitrogen, vape cartridges and mouthpieces, concentrates containers and lids, filtration media, PPE, trash bags, paper towels,
- Post verification, organizing the deliveries within the appropriate storage locations for each department.
- Monitoring par levels of critical general supplies - trash bags, PPE, paper towels, etc. Reporting any inventory items that are below the par level to the Intake Supervisor for reordering

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a technical position responsible for the execution of data entry, data collection, and database integration and reporting functions. Priorities include management of daily Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission sample intake processes, data collection workbooks, and mining of offline Stability Test data for reporting.
