The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Management team in all operational aspects of running the dispensary and ensuring each patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist Patients and Customers with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, and always provide the highest level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant manager in all activities related to inventory management.
- Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant manager in all activities and responsibilities related to Standard operating procedure compliance and training.
- Assist the Dispensary Manager and the Dispensary Assistant manager in all activities related to opening and closing the dispensary.
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our Patients, vendors, service providers and staff.
- Ensure Patients' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate Patient requests and/or problems to Manager when needed.
- Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for Patients depending on their individual needs and Physician Certification.
- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.
- Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
- Set up and break down display cases daily. Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Facilitate the new membership and Patient renewal processes.
- Perform data entry and manage the Patient database.
- Dispensing medical cannabis in Medical Marijuana Use Registry.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Book appointments for Patients for services they request.
- Maintain a current stock of Educational materials, new patient folders etc.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Under the direction of the Dispensary Manager, Assistant Manager will oversee the operation of the Curaleaf Dispensary. Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Dispensary Manager. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members in the absence of the store manager.
Customer Experience:
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform tasks such as repairs, general upkeep, cleaning, and supervising any outside contractors. - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BASIC PURPOSE:
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving criminal and administrative investigations related to the enforcement of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Act.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
The functions within this job family will vary by level, but may include the following:
• Investigates violations of state laws concerning narcotics, dangerous drugs, or other controlled substances; makes arrests, participates in undercover operations, raids and surveillance of persons or targeted locations or where it is believed that the law is being violated.
- Gathers and analyzes information; searches for and gathers physical or documentary evidence or clues; interviews witnesses; interrogates suspects; obtains signed statements and affidavits; prepares investigative reports and case records; presents findings in clear, logical, impartial and properly documented reports.
- Assists prosecutors in filing charges; appears as a witness in criminal and administrative court proceedings; drafts and executes legal documents for use in criminal and administrative investigations, subpoenas for evidence, search warrants, arrest warrants and affidavits.
- Examines physical security safeguards and accounting procedures of persons registered to manufacture, receive, hold and dispense controlled dangerous substances.
- Participates in in-service training; studies professional material relating to new investigative procedures and techniques; studies legal materials relating to court rulings and state and federal law; attends training sessions to acquire new skills.
- Operates and monitors electronic surveillance equipment; operates computers and computer software.

Required at this level include knowledge of the principles and techniques of investigation; of state and federal laws pertaining to controlled dangerous substances; of laws, court decisions, and rules pertaining to search and seizure, invasion of privacy, arrest, and rules of evidence; of the scope, applications, and interpretation of laws and regulations relating to investigating records, reports, and other documents; of laws and regulations relating to investigating, interviewing, and interrogating witnesses, suspects, and informants; and of firearm safety practices. Ability is required to analyze, interpret and evaluate information obtained; to recognize, collect and preserve physical evidence and controlled dangerous substances; to subdue persons; to protect oneself, associates and others; to organize and present facts and opinions clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; to use a firearm; to cope with stressful and/or potentially dangerous situations; to handle confidential work with tact and discretion; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other law enforcement agencies.

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a technical position responsible for the execution of data entry, data collection, and database integration and reporting functions. Priorities include management of daily Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission sample intake processes, data collection workbooks, and mining of offline Stability Test data for reporting. The Intake Technician will also assist in the research, design, development and implementation of future system enhancements and integrations. Daily work involves the routine and repetitive management of sample information to accommodate lab procedures and data analysis, in addition to supporting larger data projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Serves as sample intake processor; ensures Field Samplers have followed the appropriate procedures and that all paperwork is complete and legible
- Provides for the collection, storage, and review of Sampler Chain of Custody Forms and Customer PDF Manifests for processing and compliance records
- Creates and populates spreadsheets with sample and prep data for entry into the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission’s (MMCC) Metrc system; ensures records are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Helps to develop, implement, and maintain other internal or external applications (ie. Sample Management, Inventory Tracking, LIMS)

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a technical position responsible for the collection of samples, and the study/performance of tests on various chemical compounds and biological specimens. Daily work involves the use of various types of machinery, lab equipment and complex computer programs to perform tests, record data or findings and present information.
Lab Duties
- Weighing and preparing samples in various forms for chemical and microbial analysis
- Acquiring and analyzing data used to perform and report analytical laboratory testing of cannabis products;
- Preparing all appropriate reports related to cannabinoid potency, terpene potency, residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiologic organisms, water activity and mycotoxins;
- Performing advanced laboratory support functions such as calibration standard preparation, analytical equipment tuning and maintenance, and analysis of data used for laboratory quality control;
- Recognizing possible processing or instrument errors, providing backup for emergency/preventative equipment maintenance;
- Supporting laboratory process, method, and operations improvement projects;
- Assisting with the validation of test methods and with Research and Development (R&D) related activities;
- Assisting with the upkeep and improvement of elements of the quality management system such as SOP’s and the training program;
- Communicating with team members in order to best support client activities; and
- May also be called upon to perform the same or similar duties at other laboratory locations.
Position Requirements: General Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to fluently speak and read the English language along with understanding and following both written and verbal direction
- Ability to function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility and the ability to work effectively with fellow employees
- Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios; demonstrated abilities in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Basic knowledge of modern office practices and use of Microsoft Office Suite for Word and Excel
- Experience in driving tasks and meeting deadlines; accountable for the completion of assigned goals and objectives
- Ability to build relationships to strengthen partnerships with a focus on customer service
- Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc.
Experience, Education, Licenses/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited college
- Non-academic laboratory experience is preferred

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a customer facing position is responsible for conducting in-person field sampling, interacting with company clientele, addressing client needs and/or issues, and providing chain of custody documentation. The ideal candidate loves customer service, building genuine relationships, and has a passion to join a leader in the medical cannabis industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works to develop rapport with customers; demonstrates a friendly and helpful manner designed to put clients at ease
- Performs precise and reliable on-site sampling in accordance with established procedures, protocols, and state specific requirements
- Secures the transportation of customer samples from sampling site to designated lab facility
- Adheres to recorded transport routes and schedules to ensure the safe and timely transport of client samples
- Implements proper chain of custody documentation and adheres to state and corporate protocol for the transport of samples
- Provides for the timely logging of client samples received into both Steep Hill’s database and METRC
- Ensures every interaction with our clientele results in a positive customer experience
- Serves as customer care liaison to ensure the highest levels of service, provides timely complaint resolution, immediately escalates larger issues to management
- Provides feedback to the organization to improve local customer relations
- Addresses customer needs and provides appropriate recommendations based on internal briefings and relevant industry knowledge
- Creates opportunities designed to support customer appreciation, i.e. small gifts, giveaways, and small holiday promotions
- Completes sampling inventory spreadsheets in a timely manner
- May be responsible for other job-related duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Licenses/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in an applicable field of study
- Minimum 2 years of real-world experience in result driven customer service
- Proof of insurance, possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record are required.
- Previous experience working with and around cannabis products is preferred
