GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for human resources administration and office assistance, communicating information to department managers and staff, administrative office coordination and support, and providing assistance to HR Coordinator and management. This role is dynamic and requires a high level of flexibility and resourcefulness.
Understand and embrace the mission of SPARC, affiliate organization(s), and their role in the industry and local and greater communities.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Formally reports to and takes direction from HR Coordinator. Works closely with and receives guidance from VP of HR and other Executive staff.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Self-directed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Human Resources
- Attend meetings as needed and report on internal HR needs, news, and questions.
- Organize and maintain HR records - paper and electronic.
- Assist in creating and updating HR related forms and documents, including company newsletter.
- Create requisitions and post job postings for open positions.
- Assist in new hire orientations by providing onboarding information, reviewing policies, gathering and maintaining payroll info, obtaining required signatures, scheduling department-specific training with managers and staff.
- Maintain and update time tracking system, coordinate time validation and corrections with department managers, and use tracking sheets to update leave status.
- Assist HR Coordinator in recruiting staff and logistics, reference, and background checks.
- Act as an additional point of contact for document requests for changes in benefits, changes in deductions, updates to staff information, etc.
- With support of HR Coordinator, assist in compiling termination paperwork, disciplinary actions, medical leave paperwork, and all other HR actions.
- Work directly with HR Coordinators to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on policies, initiative and personnel matters. Assist in scheduling training management in interviewing, hiring, corrective action, terminations, promotions, and performance reviews.
- Perform the above duties in concert with the HR Coordinator.
- Assist HR coordinator with executing employee engagement activities.
Office Support
- Send/receive office correspondence.
- Keep an accurate calendar of important dates and deadlines for HR, including in/out of office times. Plan for absences accordingly.
- Order office supplies and maintain food, snacks and drink ordering for the breakroom.
Executive Support
- As needed, create meeting agendas, take notes, and track action items.
- Be accessible to HR department staff as needed.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.

Lazy River Products is a fully integrated Cannabis Licensed Operator in Massachusetts. We are currently looking for an HR/Office Administrator to help us facilitate our explosive growth.
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR/Office Administrator will be responsible for assisting in managing the Companies growth. There will be a wide range of tasks involved from keeping the office organized to assisting with onboarding employees, payroll and managing aspects of the employee portal. This individual must be a people person, patient, kind and able to work well with others.
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
- Processing mail and organizing AR/AP
- Scan and fax invoices and receipts
- Responsible for new hire and renewal of agent registration forms, creating and organizing files.
- Assist with vendor relations for new store/building opening
- Ordering and maintenance of office supplies
- Help to provide general HR support for staff.
- Help to administer benefits programs such as health and dental insurance, vacation, time off, sick leave.
- With Managements help investigate employee’ complaints, concerns, and potential misconduct and help to institute the appropriate resolutions with said employee relation issues.
