Job Summary:

This is a full-time sales position with Team K Media, the in-house event sales department of Kush.com, that focuses on hosting industry leading hemp and cannabis events. The primary objective of this position is to sell exhibitor booth space and sponsorships for the Texas Hemp Convention which will be held in Dallas, Texas November 20-21.
The person(s) selected for this position will focus sales tasks on fulfilling the business plan objectives established for the department. More specifically, the Event Sales Representative will assist the department with a wide variety of sales activities to include:
- Conduct sales calls
- Quickly and professionally respond to inquiries
- Generate leads
- Manage client accounts via HubSpot and Airtable
- Learn product and be able to speak knowledgeably to potential customers
- Generate event proposals and contracts
- Represent the organization at trade-shows and community events
- Assist with the creation of promotional concepts for both direct client communications, as well as, digital and print advertising
- Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service while hosting existing and potential clients
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

5. The work involves some exposure to extreme temperatures.
HOURS REQUIRED:
Maximum of 40 hours per week, primarily between 8:00am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Kush.com is a completely remote workplace.
THE CATCH:
While this is a great position with a high-growth startup, new hires will be expected to maintain rigorous sales quotas in order to maintain their position. Role will start on a 30 day trial in which candidates must meet certain sales requirements in order to maintain their position.
