Job Description:
The Retail Dispensary Agent is responsible for ensuring an overall positive Patient experience for the customers in connection with their product purchase decision. The Product Dispenser will facilitate the day-today operations of the Retail Dispensary. This includes recommending offered cannabis products, methods of delivery, and proper dosing. In addition, the Product Dispenser must demonstrate proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment. The Retail Dispensary Agent must be a resourceful individual who is able to work both independently, as well in a team setting and prioritizes quality customer service above all else.
Product Dispenser duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service;
- Maintain knowledge on the various strains of cannabis offered through the Retail Dispensary;
- Possess a general knowledge of the approved qualifying medical conditions to have a better understanding of the patient’s symptoms and product options;
- Utilize well-versed knowledge on all cannabinoids, as well as how they affect the body;
- Recommend appropriate cannabis products, methods of delivery and proper dosing in accordance with established guidelines to ensure positive patient experience;
- Solicit feedback to better understand customer needs and the needs of the community;
- Daily inventory counts and reconciliation;
- Receive store and inventory supplies; notify Dispensary Manager when levels are low;
- Prepare medicated products and accessories for display, assuring highest quality in appearance and presentation;

We are seeking high energy and outgoing cannabis enthusiasts to join Gage Cannabis Company as Sales Associates. Sales associates act as the face of Gage by providing customers an excellent experience as they arrive, browse, and make their final product selections. This individual should be excited to cultivate an excellent understanding of cannabis and interact with people while working in a fast paced environment. Experience in customer service, retail, and/or hospitality industries is preferred.
Gage Cannabis Company is an adult use cannabis dispensary in Ayer Massachusetts.
Essential Functions
- Follow Gage Policies and Procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Educate clients on the different strains and products that are available
- Ensure that each client receives excellent customer service throughout each visit to and interaction with Gage
- Develop ongoing and long term client relationships through all support and interactions
- Maintain an efficient flow while ensuring client needs are being met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked work area
- Utilize POS software effectively and efficiently
- Perform other duties as directed.
