Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

- Plan:
Work with finance and FP&A to create forward looking material and buy plans that inform Kiva’s P&L and Balance Sheet
Build and implement purchase plans based on trailing demand and sales forecast that balance in stock with lead time, safety stock and space constraints

The director of Procurement will be responsible for handling all vendor relationships, managing inventory, modeling needs, creating categories and filling them with high value, well priced products desired by our 10s of Thousands of customers worldwide. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, ELIGIBILITY and TRAINING:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in senior management vendor purchasing 10+ preferred Experience working with a cross-functional team of purchasing professionals.
- Bachelor's degree required (major in business or supply chain management a plus). Master's degree preferred (major in purchasing, supply chain management, or similar a plus).
- Accreditation in Supply Management and/or Procurement, e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
- The ability to set up enterprise-wide purchasing systems.
- Effective interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and basic knowledge of general business concepts.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel including the ability to quickly build centralized internal reports using large data sets from both internal and external sources.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position must occasionally lift, push, pull and or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, this position is regularly required to sit and regularly use hand(s) to handle, grasp, feel, and or touch. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position is required to speak and listen regularly.

Job Duties:
- Manage all procurement resulting from sales and supply needs
- Develop and maintain all vendor relationships
- Seek new vendors to obtain better pricing and/or service
- Manage three employees with shared responsibilities
- Work closely with Art Director to ensure high quality and efficient product development
- Create processes to ensure expeditious procurement and sourcing practices
- Identify purchasing and project management software and present for implementation
