Job Summary*
The Laboratory Technician I is responsible for the routine processing of samples to achieve accurate and timely results.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute weighing responsibilities as defined in SOP efficiently and accurately.
- Authorized to independently execute multiple test methods per the Standard Operating Procedures, including extractions, dilutions and sequencing of various instruments as well as correctly mixing/making Mobile Phases, QCs and various other solutions.
- Accurately complete worksheets and logbooks.
- Accurately transfer instrument results to LIMS while maintaining data integrity.
- Complete laboratory cleaning per SOP
- Escalate safety observations or lab improvements as appropriate

- Ensure audit of highest quality in laboratory operations
- Quality point person on auditing processes related to the MCR Labs Quality System
- Provides input on dashboards for use by quality staff and executive team
- Review MCR Labs site operations and ensure compliance with the MCR Labs Quality System requirements
- Review quality assurance manual and related processes
- Lead system audits, write audit reports, and approve audit responses

Job Summary
The sampling agent will travel to Pennsylvania Grower Processors (GP’s) as a representative of MCR PA to perform sampling as per PA Department of Health’s regulations and lab standard operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive to a Medical Marijuana Grower Processor (GP) sites in PA to perform cannabis sampling. Drive times will vary depending on location.
- Coordinate with the business development manager and client services representative to arrange and execute sampling at GPs.
- Collect samples of cannabis products at client sites in accordance with PA state regulations and MCR PA standard operating procedures.
- Follow the aseptic technique to avoid contamination of samples being collected.
- Weigh samples with a balance and accurately record sample weights.
- Communicate and coordinate sampling activities with the business development manager and client services representative.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and building relationships.
- Maintain sampling supplies.
- Work directly with our contracted transportation agents.

Individual is responsible for working in the laboratory and carrying out specific R&D and validation of specific R&D projects. - Previous experience with regulatory requirements such as ISO 17025 and knowledge of the current state of Massachusetts’s marijuana program is value added.
- Excellent at communication, solving problems, and representing the company.
- Experience performing microbiology testing in a regulated environment.
- The ability to work independently or with a team.

Job SummaryThe Package Handler position will aid the Procurement Specialist with various number of tasks. They will help with ensuring a positive flow of package distribution within our receiving area. Job Summary
The Metrology Technician will be responsible for maintaining traceability of instruments and reagents used within the laboratory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical balance calibration verification;
- Conduct pipette calibration verification;
- Ensure instruments are calibrated at appropriate intervals;
- Review test records for compliance;
- Maintain and organize calibration certificates for various equipment and instruments;
- Maintain and update metrological logbooks for accuracy and completeness;
- Maintain reference standard inventory and expiration;
- Maintain reagent inventory and expiration;
- Maintain and update the vendor assurance program;
- Maintain and organize certificates of analysis for reagents and standards;
Bonus Qualifications:
- Calibration lab experience
- ISO 17025 lab experience
Qualification
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a laboratory

Job SummaryThe Laboratory Technician will be part of a team which utilizes various analytical chemistry and microbiological procedures for analyzing cannabis and cannabis products.
Primary Job ResponsibilitiesThe Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the preparation, processing and destruction of test samples, maintaining run logs and instrument logs, preparing solutions, data entry and analysis, as well as various other tasks required to keep the laboratory clean and functioning. Instrumentation used in the lab include LCUV, LCMSMS, GCFID, ICPMS, and BioMerieux microbiological system.
Primary Goal
Perform routine testing per our Standard Operating Procedures.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry or pharmaceutical related discipline
- At least 2 years working in a lab, preferably with HPLC
- Basic laboratory skills including use of a balance, centrifuge, and pipetting
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Aggregating, processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of internal data used for analysis
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
- Working with multiple departments to find requested information
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, master’s degree a plus
- Proficient in at least two programming languages (e.g. Python, R, Java, C, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
- Extensive SQL-based database experience, but knowledge of NoSQL or graph databases a plus
- Cloud-based computing platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, etc.) exposure
- Experience creating data visualizations using software/tools such as Tableau, D3, or R Shiny
- Expansive usage of command line tools and git version control technology
- Prior experience with financial, medical, or alternative data providers a plus
- Proven record of extracting, transforming, cleaning, and matching large, disparate, dirty data
