DESCRIPTION
Riverside Wellness is an experienced armed security officer for Riverside Wellness, a Medical Marijuana Dispensary. The Security Guard will report to the Security Manager. Your primary duty is to guard and patrol the company property and to prevent and deter diversion, theft and violence. Primary responsibility for securing the facility, patients, employees, and proprietary information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and patrol premises as directed by Security Manager
- Escort personnel as needed
- Prevent and deter criminal activity and loss of assets
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Greet and check patients in to software system
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting / emergency equipment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Patrol building and perimeter
Justice Cannabis Co. has recently implemented a full vaccination policy.
- PA Act 235 certification required
- Must be eligible to carry a firearm
- Proven work experience
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures / protocols
- Must have excellent public relations/customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Ability to interface with the public in congenial manner
- Collaborative, team oriented and compassionate
- Integrity and professionalism
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Applicants will be required to complete mandated criminal background check (Federal and State) and a 2-hour, online training course.
- Prior law enforcement experience strongly preferred.
- Taser training and certification strongly preferred.
