Job description
The Armed Security Officer is tasked with conducting protection for a client in the Kansas City, Missouri area. This role will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the client and staff, as well as safeguarding client assets. Officers must work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and be able to at times work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities. Armed Security Officers are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization’s mission. Potential candidates must recognize the strong importance of working as a team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must Safeguard All Assets. Such as medical cannabis and cash
Static Operations (fixed location)
Reports to leadership with detailed updates and information.
Safeguards and maintains sensitive and confidential information.
Follow company and client-directed SOP’s.
Maintain physical fitness and personal appearance.
Requirements:
Experience in armed security operations protecting high net worth assets preferred.
Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
Must be on time, prompt, and honor regularly assigned work schedules.
Military Experience – Honorably Discharged. DD – 214 and all military training will be verified
Ability to work autonomously or in team environment.
Accustomed to operating in a high tempo environment.
Have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be able to thrive in a very diverse environment.
Fluently read, speak and write the English language.
Preferably certified in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), EMT, Paramedic, or CPR/First Aid/AED.
Have a current understanding of defensive tactics, along with local and state use of force laws.
Operations:
- Any and all prior training certificates, military credentials, law enforcement credentials, and education documents will be required to be produced in order to be considered for the position.
Pay: $19/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
