Job Summary:
The Prevention Program Coordinator (PPC) works in East Contra Costa County to lead CHAA’s Environmental Prevention program out of the Antioch office. The PPC primary responsibility is to coordinate an environmental prevention program focused on cannabis prevention and regulation.
In its third year, this project will focus on needs assessing and recruiting a core group of youth to be peer mentors to middle school students for an after school program and develop policy recommendations with the goal of decreasing access and use of cannabis by youth in Antioch.
This is the perfect position for an individual who is looking for an opportunity to grow and develop their skills as a community based public health professional working with underserved youth.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Youth Group Development:
Develop and support a team of youth interns.
Coordinate and facilitate program meetings.
Provide leadership training for the high school youth in preparation for peer mentorship programming at middle school.
Properly document meetings through minutes, agenda and sign in sheets.
Ensure that youth are aware of current local/state cannabis issues.
Community Based Efforts:
Develop working relationships with local schools, coalitions and stake holders to support advocacy efforts.
Review of California Healthy Kids Survey data for East Contra Costa County.
Attend Contra Costa County (CCC) Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sponsored trainings and meetings as needed.
Maintain databases and program related information and research.
Gather and analyze data related to this prevention program.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Retail Security Officer
Represent yourself, Hammer Head Security and our major retail clients with complete professionalism.
Maintain a strong, visible point of control for both the interior and exterior of the facility at all times
Your primary responsibility is to present yourself as a visual deterrent to retail theft and store loss.
Establish and cultivate a safe and secure environment for Store Staff, Management and their customers.
Fully comprehend and enforce all store policies/procedures for customers, vendors and staff.
Conduct routine and random foot patrols throughout the store, report any suspicious behavior or activity immediately.
Practice effective communication with Store Staff and Management to control the flow of inbound/outbound foot traffic in a safe and efficient manner.
Defuse any incidents with difficult persons with sound conflict resolution skills, involve Facility Management as needed.
Proactively monitor CCTV stations to identify active areas of concern and engage appropriately
With explicit training, conduct controlled stops and recovery of unpaid merchandise. In best cases documenting that individual.

To supervise assign, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for processing cannabis orders and administrative calls,dispatching to out drivers throughout California. Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of dispatchers who receive and process delivery calls; monitor phone traffic to ensure procedural compliance; review customer information entered into the computer system; conduct quality assurance feedback and coaching sessions with assigned employees at regular intervals.
- Communicate with the public, subordinates, peers, supervisors; interpret, explain and answer operational and procedural questions, handle complaints from customers, employees and drivers; complete notifications to appropriate party.
- Operate and monitor sophisticated communications systems: Computer Aided Dispatch and phone system; initially troubleshoot issues and report appropriate failure to the correct person(s).
- Assess employees' compliance with procedure, assist in development of employee skills and abilities by providing constructive criticism, recognition and corrective action when necessary; conduct quality assurance feedback and coaching sessions with assigned employees at regular intervals; provide both verbal and written feedback involving the discipline process. Initiates commendations where appropriate.
- Review statistical data which outlines center and employee performance; adjust schedules (breaks/lunch) as necessary to achieve performance goals.
- Instruct new and existing employees in the classroom and/or briefing on policy and procedure.
- Prepare and complete analytical and statistical reports and memos as required. Prepare copies of recordings as directed.

We are currently accepting applications for Part-Time/hourly Brand Agents in this territory. This role involves communicating and engaging with dispensary management, budtenders and dispensary customers, managing those relationships, and providing feedback, updates, and insights to TrustTree clients.
As a Brand Agent, you will represent a portfolio of TrustTree’s client brands at a variety of dispensaries in your territory. The Part-time/Hourly Brand Agent acts as the face of our client's brands, and communicates the brand story, key selling points and benefits of the products to budtenders, conducts product demonstrations, and runs promotional events for dispensary customers. You will also support TrustTree clients by assisting with the implementation of budtender and customer incentive programs, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.

As a TrustTree Brand Agent, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to develop your professional network, learn and apply sales and marketing techniques, cultivate a deep knowledge of the business and science of Cannabis and Cannabis manufacturing, and direct exposure to cannabis retail operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Represent a portfolio of TrustTree client brands in your territory.
- Provide in-store product demonstrations, conduct Patient/Customer Appreciation Days (PADs) events, and similar special field marketing events on behalf of TrustTree clients.
- Provide in-store training for dispensary staff on behalf of TrustTree clients.
- Assist TrustTree and TrustTree clients with merchandising and marketing initiatives.
- Complete feedback reports and questionnaires for both TrustTree and TrustTree clients.
- Obtain and provide pictures and video of demos, in-store displays, shelf displays and other specified areas for TrustTree and TrustTree clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with budtenders in your territory.
- Maintain regular contact and communication with your supervisor.
- Regularly track all hours and mileage using the Shifts and MileIQ apps.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 1-2 Years experience in cannabis retail, retail sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred. (Also consider applying if you have an entertainment/theater, music, or performance background!)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Punctual.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- You are comfortable with, and enjoy, presenting and speaking with large groups of people.
- Deep knowledge of cannabis - the science, the industry, the people, and the culture. (If you're new to the industry, we are willing to train and educate the right candidates).
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and similar social platforms. (We're willing to train the right candidate).

Retail Security Officer
Represent yourself, Hammer Head Security and our major retail clients with complete professionalism.
Maintain a strong, visible point of control for both the interior and exterior of the facility at all times
Your primary responsibility is to present yourself as a visual deterrent to retail theft and store loss.
Establish and cultivate a safe and secure environment for Store Staff, Management and their customers.
Fully comprehend and enforce all store policies/procedures for customers, vendors and staff.
Conduct routine and random foot patrols throughout the store, report any suspicious behavior or activity immediately.
Practice effective communication with Store Staff and Management to control the flow of inbound/outbound foot traffic in a safe and efficient manner.
Defuse any incidents with difficult persons with sound conflict resolution skills, involve Facility Management as needed.
Proactively monitor CCTV stations to identify active areas of concern and engage appropriately
With explicit training, conduct controlled stops and recovery of unpaid merchandise. In best cases documenting that individual.
