At Your Green Package, the Cannabis Transporter is primarily responsible for a daily route of deliveries from marijuana establishments to other marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter will coordinate with the dispatch team to make sure products are delivered in a timely manner. The Cannabis Transporter position is a hybrid role that combines driving a delivery vehicle and providing superior customer service all while working in a professional manner with our partnered marijuana establishments. The Cannabis Transporter reports directly to the Head of Delivery Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow YGP Policies & Procedures for daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
- Provide exceptional services on behalf of your designated dispensary
- Provide product delivery service from Marijuana establishments to other Marijuana establishments
- Ensures the safe transport of product, that manifests are complete with correct information, package quantities, dates, times, and mileage
- Follow assigned randomized routes and secure delivery services with signal checks as required during each route
- Model best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations and builds a long-term rapport
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive customers information
- Accurately receive, prepare, and complete customers’ orders and sales utilizing point-of-sale
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is stocked, clean, and in proper operational order
- Work in close coordination with a team of other Cannabis Transporters, dispatchers, and managers
- Supports the teamwork effort in both starts of day and end of day procedures
- Act as a liaison between Marijuana establishment and YGP management to continually improve the customer experience
- Appropriately escalate customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and loyalty to our brand

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced driving 15′ or 16′ box truck
- 25 years old or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required): Minimum driving history of 3 years
- Clean driving record (Required)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen (Required; THC is not a disqualifier)

About The Job
As a specialty waste management provider our duties heavily rely on transportation and warehousing work. We collect full containers from our clients and replenish them with fresh ones for their next pickup. The containers are unloaded and consolidated for disposal/treatment at our warehouse then cleaned and sanitized to be put back into the collection cycle.
Your role as a driver will be eventful and active. You will visit our clients with our vehicles either a 20ft box truck or our commercial van to perform pickups and/or any deliveries. During each stop you will load full containers and unload clean empty ones for the client’s next pickup and collect a signature from the client.
Your role in the warehouse will be to un/load the containers, empty them via forklift, consolidate certain materials by hand, monitor waste streams and contamination, wash and clean the empty containers, and prep them for their next use.
In summary you will be providing support to our warehouse supervisor and performing pickups.

SUMMARY
Under general direction, performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers from the Unit office, equipment and plant maintenance work, and fertilizer blending.
RESPONSIBILITIES
May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities
loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
operating equipment to blend fertilizer
monitoring product application by calculating amounts, calibrating equipment, controlling application rates, and cleaning and storing equipment after application process
receiving and unloading product and performing warehouse inventory and storage functions.
Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
1+ years related experience
Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation.
Skills: Ability to do a variety of tasks in succession, i.e., blending products together, loading a truck, and driving the truck to a farm.
Licenses: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsement to drive a ten-wheeler on the highway; generally referred to as a Class A preferred.
Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.

Role
Easy Waste Management Drivers and Haulers are responsible for routine pick-up, hauling and transportation of client's cannabis waste and containers. This role requires individuals to operate company vehicles, comply with cannabis waste regulations regarding reporting and disposal of waste, and ultimately, represent the brand at routine pick-ups. Because waste must be transferred out of client facilities, into the truck, and out when it reaches its final destination, this job may require some physical demands.
Job Responsibilities
- Operating company vehicles in a safe manner, oftentimes in heavy traffic
- Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Reporting vehicle maintenance needs to supervisor
- Arriving at client facilities in a timely, respectful manner for waste pick-up services
