Duties Description
Under the direction of their assigned Program Specialist 2 (Cannabis), the incumbents of these positions will be working closely with the Surveillance and Regulatory Compliance units and will be responsible for oversight for licensing and permit applications and renewals to establish the licensing program within the Operations/Licensing Unit.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with OCM counsel and management on the more difficult licensing issues.
- Analyze operations to ensure work flows smoothly and is performed accurately, timely and in accordance with rules and procedures.
- Develop and write procedures to deal with legislative and policy changes and implement them through subordinate supervisors.

We are hiring bud-tenders, cultivation assistants and production assistants. These are all entry level positions. Experience is preferred but not required. Rates for entry level positions range from $12 - $20 per hour.
Highlite Staffing is a cannabis staffing agency contracted by several licensed facilities to help fulfill entry-level, mid-lever and upper-level management and lead positions.
Bud-tenders must have excellent customer service skills, be reliable, able to work point of sale software and cash register (comfortable and trustworthy with cash transactions) and fully understand cannabis strains, products and methods of consumption.
Cultivation assistants must be passionate about working with plants for pre and post harvest roles including but not limited to cracking seeds, transitioning pots, feeding nutrients, watering, defoliating and/or trimming the plant after it is cured.
Production assistants will be working in either a production lab or kitchen and will be working with concentrates, edible and/or topicals helping assist with making the products, weighing and packaging the products.
Our team is called into various licensed facilities throughout the state when extra hands are needed on deck. JOB SUMMARY
The Packager position is an entry level position that is part of a team in our legal cannabis cultivation/production facility and will report to the Packaging Manager. The Packager will work to ensure the product quality meets our company’s high standards of production while continuing to improve the department as a whole. The Packaging Department is the last point of contact with our product before it reaches the consumer, so quality assurance and attention to detail is vital for this department. This requires daily communicating with and reporting any issues to the Packaging Manager. The Packager will be supplied the right tools and training to grow within our Company. We are looking to hire individuals who don't mind rolling-up their sleeves and doing what it takes to get the job done because they know the future rewards are worthwhile. This is ideal for someone familiar with the cannabis industry who also appreciates the growth potential that it presents. The Packager position is 5 days a week, Monday through Friday ( with possible overtime if needed). The shift is an 8 hour shift, from 8am - 4:30pm (schedule may be subject to change). - Quickly and accurately label packaging for retail sales according to our SOP guidelines
- Quickly and accurately weigh cannabis flower into 1/8ths or grams quickly and accurately
- Quickly and accurately assemble and pack boxes alongside team
- Handle products carefully and with a high attention to detail to prevent mistakes

- Sorting processed material into different bins by grade and size

- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing. Wipe down your table, sweep your area, put packaging materials away, pick up trash, tidy up your space, and other team cleaning duties.
