RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support full cycle general ledger monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process

Job Description

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Grower Relations Representative to join our growing team! This position is to ensure the quality of our Estate and Contracted fruit. This person will work closely with our sister Vineyard Management company (Shannon Ranches) help to create an annual Farm Plan, monitor progress throughout the season, upkeep data, and coordinate with the winemaking and vineyard management team to ensure vineyard cultural practices are performed.
Supply Planning
- Ensure that the agreed percentages of all quality grapes required by Shannon Ridge Inc. are contracted.
- Work with Growers to release or cancel excess fruit if necessary.
- Maintain Vintrace database with accurate and timely records to allow for supply analysis
Negotiations
- Negotiate where necessary new grape supply agreements.
- Negotiate annual grape prices with winegrowers
- Manage the resolution of grower disputes
Grower Relations
Work independently in all aspects outlined below utilizing critical thinking, and a quality mindset to:
- Actively persue any new grower opportunities in accordance with the company’s supply strategy.
- Scout vineyards for pests and diseases
- Work with Growers to ensure grape quality and value are maximized and that good viticulture practices are met
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of all Viticulture information in Vintrace. This includes, but is not limited to: contracts, yield estimates, contract terms and status, payment reports, pesticide reports, and pest quarantine documents.
- Advise and participate with regional organizations on current and emerging trends in Viticulture
- Monitor fruit maturity and work closely with Winemakers to ensure a smooth and efficient harvest.
- Communicate and schedule harvest operations with growers and management companies, once the optimum picking time has been decided by the winemakers, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Support management and staff by flexible working locations depending on where the needs of the business are across the region.

- Work to develop farming plans and budget needs

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead all aspects of Accounts Receivables across various entities & geographies: California, Canada, Nevada, Michigan, Colorado, amongst others
- Oversee the collection efforts and delinquency controls, ensuring money owed is billed and received accurately and promptly
- Manage billing, credits and account reconciliations while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Lead & train the team to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and distributors to effectively communicate Customer Account balances and invoice due dates

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular internal compliance audits of all Temescal Wellness facilities in MA and NH and conduct unannounced site inspections of all TW locations.
- Compile reports of all audits and inspections for both internal and external stakeholders, as required, and assist with any necessary corrective action.
- Closely monitor the actions and publications of the governing agencies which regulate the Cannabis industry: Cannabis Control Commission (MA) and Therapeutic Cannabis Program (NH) and provide research and analysis of same, balancing the requirements of regulators, the operating needs of the business and the preferences of patients and guests.
- As part of the regulatory review process, solicit feedback from Temescal Leadership, draft and present public comments at Commission hearings on proposed regulations.
- Maintain an organized, accessible and up to date library of regulatory resources for use across the organization, ensuring that any changes to regulations, guidance, policy, enforcement or legislation are documented and that stakeholders are kept up to date.
- Ensure that subject matter experts incorporate required changes in policy and procedure documentation to licensing authorities.
- Manage the agent registration and separation processes with the Cannabis Control Commission in cooperation with hiring managers and other key stakeholders.
- Assist with license renewal initiatives, including the submission of complete documentation.
- As the resident Subject Matter Expert on Compliance, tasked with interpreting and upholding state regulations, act as a resource to other Temescal Wellness personnel.
- Assist with developing and providing training to colleagues.
- Lead by example in identifying process improvement opportunities, proposing solutions, building consensus and helping to implement agreed-upon changes. Present findings and recommendations, including expected outcomes and implementation plans, to management and staff in a concise and persuasive manner. Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.

Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for leading through MM's mission, vision, and values in order to develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth. The SM in partnership of the General Manager leads a team of Co-Managers who specialize in DOR's (division of responsibility) and is accountable for all aspects of managing a single retail store (as well as all other projects/duties as assigned).

This position requires a passion for process excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to lead and influence.
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial success of the store and has full P&L responsibility. The SM is responsible for responding to business needs and strategizing around business trends in order to drive profitable top line sales growth. The Store Manager must also have experience in assessing, recruiting and screening talent.
Job Functions
Performance:
- Meet or exceed goals related to total store sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Forecast and adjust payroll to maximize productivity, achieve sales & payroll goals, and complete workload.
- Build a team that embodies the MM brand by delivering exceptional service and driving customer loyalty therefore increasing return visits.
- Review and interpret financial and operational reporting regularly, including store visit and audit results.
- Identify under-performing metrics and develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools, and resources to improve and grow the business

- Use the company's scheduling tool as directed to schedule the right associates, in the right places, at the right times in order to provide a "showtime" customer experience, reduce loss, and execute company directives. Partner with co-managers on hospitality and operational scheduling needs.
- Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, compliance and loss prevention.
- Performance manage and coach team members on poor performance and violation of company and compliance policies in partnership of GM and HRBP.
- Support continuous improvement by implementing company programs and influencing end-user's buy in.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 5+ years of managerial experience preferably in a retail-based industry with a customer-centric approach
- Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals and metrics
- Proven ability to drive sales results, able to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business
- Comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment
- Ability to address complex issues and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.

This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires a flex schedule, long hours, nights, weekend work and holiday availability.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed. Ability to climb step stools and ladders. Ability to stand/walk for long periods at a time. Possess manual dexterity and hand - eye coordination. Ability to travel to other store locations (if needed) and attend district meetings.
