Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of outside business to business sales experience along with a strong knowledge of medical marijuana, as well as a desire to learn. A typical work week involves calling on 100+ dispensaries in your territory to establish new customer relationships, as well as managing accounts in your book of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Perform cost-benefit/needs analysis of existing and potential customers
- Follow-up with customer leads through cold calling (phone calls, texting, emailing, and in-person)
- Achieve agreed upon sales objectives/metrics and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory potential, track sales, and status reports
- Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, and etc.
- Develop and supply the VP of Sales with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Occasional weekend work may be required to support promotional events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
