This Entry-level Gardener position provides employees an opportunity to begin their cultivation career path with Airfield. Gardener I’s assist in processing freshly harvested flowers. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into our production and curing processes. We have structured this entry-level role this way for two very specific reasons:
Increased Cannabis Knowledge. Working as a Gardener I will allow inexperienced gardeners an opportunity to get acclimated working with various strains grown at Airfield in a hands on capacity. Processing these completed grows will help deepen gardeners' understanding around what healthy cannabis flowers should look like after they have been properly grown and cured. The ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail is a key element to progressing to the Gardener II role.
Understanding the importance of quality control. As a springboard into the Gardener II role, Gardener I’s will be given additional tasks with specific instruction to manage once they have shown proficiency handling bucking projects and maintained good standing with Airfield’s attendance policy. It is important that prior to advancement to the next level within the grow department that employees understand why we adopt specific protocols for our vertical growth model. Airfield cultivation leadership will have an opportunity to access the employees growth and attention to detail prior to making a recommendation for advancement.
