Airfield Supply Co. Guest Services Reps are the initial touch point for all customers visiting our San Jose location, and are responsible for managing customer lines and granting access to our dispensary. Ideal candidates will be able to handle the following:
- Clearly communicate Airfield's purchasing guidelines and rules to follow while onsite to approximately 700 customers daily. Manage rejection of potential customers that do not meet local and State requirements for entry
- Multitask, as greeters are responsible for verifying state and government-issued ID's for all potential customers
- Communicate effectively to deescalate aggressive and/or rude customers
- Give directions to large groups, public speaking experience a plus
- Collaborate with onsite Security throughout the day to minimize loss prevention opportunities
As a desk associate, you will mostly be handling signing up new customers, updating our daily deals, completing data entry and auditing our menus online. Any other tasks delegated by management such as cleaning bathrooms, changing trash, sanitizing and more.

Position Summary
The Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of the fulfillment room and all order fulfillment processes. The Fulfillment Coordinator also assists any staff that is being scheduled in the fulfillment room. The FC will be capable of all duties required for packaging and proper ticketing of pick up and delivery orders. The FC is responsible for the training and development of staff within the fulfillment room in coordination with the employee’s respective departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following
- Assist the Inventory, Retail, and E-commerce departments to staff, stock, and manage the Fulfillment Room in order to streamline the fulfillment process. The goal being to have orders packed as quickly and accurately as possible.
- Pick and scan items for pickup/delivery orders. Assist with moving packaged orders to the proper locations with necessary receipts attached.
- Restock and organize inventory and supplies as needed in the Fulfillment Room.
- Provide training to new and current employees with regards to the fulfillment room processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to help maintain departmental operations and improve on the speed of fulfillment.
- Coordinate with inventory on stock levels & product discrepancies
- Coordinate with E-budtenders when products are out of stock for online orders.

The purchaser for a dispensary is responsible for the procurement of all marijuana products distributed by the dispensary. The purchaser must have an extremely refined ability to evaluate the quality and value of marijuana bud and concentrates. The purchaser must be a sommelier of cannabis. Negotiation skills are also critical for this position. The purchaser will hold open hours for drop-in vendors to show their products 3 days per week. The purchaser will also schedule appointments for regular vendors to evaluate vintage products and receive standard products (edibles, lotions, vape products, etc.). Specific duties include:
-Meet with new vendors to evaluate their products (bud, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, vapes, etc.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain & update comprehensive list of BCC retail licenses (prospects) in CA
- Cold call & pitch wholesale brand to accounts on BCC retail list - 10 / 15 calls per day
- Schedule pitch meetings / sample deliveries with prospect accounts
- Ability to be in the field / on the road 3 days per week at minimum, meeting with accounts / potential retailers / maintaining & growing current account relationships
- Manage & update CRM for visibility to leadership & collaborative teams
- Monthly Expectations to open minimum 3 new retailers every month

This Entry-level Gardener position provides employees an opportunity to begin their cultivation career path with Airfield. Gardener I’s assist in processing freshly harvested flowers. This is a great opportunity to gain insight into our production and curing processes. We have structured this entry-level role this way for two very specific reasons:
Increased Cannabis Knowledge. Working as a Gardener I will allow inexperienced gardeners an opportunity to get acclimated working with various strains grown at Airfield in a hands on capacity. Processing these completed grows will help deepen gardeners' understanding around what healthy cannabis flowers should look like after they have been properly grown and cured. The ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail is a key element to progressing to the Gardener II role.
Understanding the importance of quality control. As a springboard into the Gardener II role, Gardener I’s will be given additional tasks with specific instruction to manage once they have shown proficiency handling bucking projects and maintained good standing with Airfield’s attendance policy. It is important that prior to advancement to the next level within the grow department that employees understand why we adopt specific protocols for our vertical growth model. Position Summary
The daily challenges that arise regarding the management of in-house and vendor delivered product is substantial for the Inventory Technician. The Inventory Technician will receive, store, organize and account for product safely and accurately. The incumbent must display a high level of understanding of our onsite storage capabilities, retail floor design, perishable vs. non perishable items, state regulations regarding inventory storage, and storage techniques to maximize our space while maintaining a consistent inventory. The Inventory technician must be an effective communicator as well as work as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Model the core values of Service, Education & Accountability on a daily basis.
- Safely store Airfield and vendor products once processed through the intake process
- Assist with intaking product and verifying with inventory supervisor that all products match invoice, METRC and Manifest
- Intaking quill, uline and office supply orders - organizing and ensuring necessary items get to correct departments
- Keep products organized in vault according to FIFO order, ensure items are properly labeled
- Keep any product storage location tidy and organized at all times to maximize efficiency
- Assist with counting merchandise, office supplies and any product inventory needed and reporting it to inventory supervisor or manager
- Execute strategies outlined by the inventory supervisor or manager and marketing department to ensure the sales floor is prepared for any type of sale/promotion of product- it is the inventory technicians responsibility to make sure the retail floor is fully stocked with products
- Restock retail floor and fulfilment area with product every 2 hours or more frequently if needed
- Help batch any necessary product for compliant and easy restock
- Restock merchandise, paraphernalia and any needed office supplies
- Attend related company/department meetings

Airfield Managers display excellent time management skills and must be very strategic in how they allocate their time daily. Prioritization around the most important and immediate needs of the business should be the primary driver for planning and executing meetings, checking in with departments and offering feedback on projects and proposals. Managers above all other leaders in the organization must be able to effectively delegate responsibilities as needed.
Exemplary Customer Service & Communication skills
Airfield Senior managers serves as the very last line of escalation when it comes to speaking to customers. Discretion should be used by all retail managers (MOD) prior to escalating customer issues to senior management, but senior managers should always be prepared to field customer concerns with retention being the primary goal. When communicating with staff, managers will use their skills to help motivate employees and keep overall team morale high. Managers understand the importance of making ethical decisions when establishing interpersonal relationships with subordinates.
Punctuality & Determination
As salaried employees, all Airfield managers are expected to lead by example regarding attendance and punctuality. Salaried employees set the tone for productive business days by showing up with a positive attitude and infectious energy that the staff can feed off of each day.

Job Description
Strong Customer Service:
Must be positive and welcoming
Must be well educated with all medicinal products offered
Strain knowledge is required, both in the effects and strain genetics
Must be familiar with various methods of consumption
Educate members to ensure all patients are receiving the correct medication that will best help their illness and/or condition
Provide new members with a facility tour as well a full description of all medicine options offered
Ensure the cleanliness of the medicine stations and back counter
Interact with members on site as well as over the phone, collecting feedback on the goods and services provided by the collective
Package, process, roll, and trim cannabis
Complete all tasks delegated by the supervising manager
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Experience in using cannabis
Must be reliable and honest, tardiness and absents for shifts is not tolerated
Live in the nearby area:
Bay Area, San Jose, Santa Clara, Campbell, Los Gatos etc.
Must have Personal transportation
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
Flexible hours / availability, and willing to cover shifts
