Job Description

As an Garden Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to learn:

• Cutting-edge cultivation techniques

• Cloning

• METRC

• Pest management

• Pheno-hunting

• The mechanics of legal cannabis cultivation

Responsibilities will include:

• Watering

• Plant pruning and defoliation

• Mixing nutrient solutions

• Spraying

• Transplanting

• Taking clones and clone care

• Harvesting plants

• Cleaning and maintaining an organized facility

Requirements

Candidates must be:

• Confident enough to receive direction

• Organized enough to effectively use a calendar and planner

• Committed enough to always go above and beyond to make sure your work reaches a high standard

• Educated enough to know how to leverage the scientific method to find solutions in the garden

• Humble enough to know that you don’t know everything

• Smart enough to know when to ask questions

• Curious enough to always want to learn more

• Collaborative enough to do whatever needs to be done, even when it’s not fun

• Creative enough to constantly look for a better way to do things

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Applicants must be able to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Work Experience

Applicants should have experience working in the landscape, nursery, greenhouse, cannabis or any plant-related industry.

We’re willing to train applicants with experience in other industries.

Compensation

$17-22/hour, depending on experience. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Yield-based bonuses can be earned on every harvest after 90 days of employment.

Supplemented healthcare, dental, and vision coverage available after 90 days of employment.

Job Description

As a Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

- Overseeing all operations at our indoor cultivation facility- Performing preventive and scheduled maintenance of equipment and tools- Learning, enforcing, and improving our existing Standard Operating Procedures- Troubleshooting problems and finding creative, effective solutions- Staying abreast of industry trends, technology, and cultivation techniques- Pursuing and making industry connections on behalf of the business- Participating in and co-leading weekly team meetings- Leading a team of 6 Garden Associates in:- Maintaining a clean and organized facility- Harvesting- Profiling & defoliation- Potting & transplanting- Watering- Cloning- Pest management- Managing Garden Associates by:- Creating daily & weekly task lists- Training & skill development- Ensuring quality and pace of work meets our standard- Maintaining a positive work environment- Anticipating mistakes and preventing accidents- Performing quarterly evaluations

We do not require candidates to have obtained a degree in higher learning. We are looking for individuals who have a strong history of a chieving results in the above categories.

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to:

- Lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs- Stand for 8+ hours/day

Compensation

$24-28/hour + Bonuses based on harvest yields and product quality (test results)
