A DAY IN THE LIFE
Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, tobacco, cannabis, and toxicity testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.
Our Orange, CA Laboratory is currently seeking a Full-Time Field Courier/Sampling Technician to join our team to support our San Diego service area.
Schedule 10am - 6:30pm
As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
- Responsible for delivery of sample containers and pick up of environmental samples
- Works with field coordinator to determine the best route to minimize travel time and maximize total of jobs
- Prepares proper containers and calibrates field parameters prior to each field sampling project
- Properly fills out chain-of-custodies and follows sample acceptance procedures
- Handles and drives the company vehicle in a responsible and legal manner
- Schedule routine maintenance of assigned company vehicle
- Adheres to Enthalpy’s Ethical Policy and Quality Assurance Manual
- Assists with the repair of field equipment including ISCO compositors and field meters
- Assists with sample login as needed
- Perform additional duties as requested by Group Leader
- Participates in focus teams as needed

We are a small analytical laboratory based in Olympia, Washington. The perfect person is smart, confident, responsible, WANTS to work, presents themselves well, and enjoys one-on-one customer service. Courier needed to transport I-502(legal recreational/medical cannabis) samples from state licensed growers and producers to our state certified analytical laboratory in Olympia, Washington. We are strictly a testing laboratory. We do not grow, process, or sell cannabis.
This position requires ~10 hours a week. Hours will vary based on the needs of our clients. Samples are picked up along the I-5 corridor and certain Western Washington locations. A company car, will be provided for all pick-ups, and gas will be paid for using a company account. The currier will know of the pickups the day before by 5pm.
Requirements;
Must be 21 years and older
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to work under a deadline
Must be able to handle last minute customer pickups and cancellations
Must be reliable, and trustworthy
Must be comfortable driving several hours a day.

PSI Labs is looking for a Field Sampling Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for conducting sampling in the field and safely and securely transporting samples and relevant documentation to the laboratory for processing. Field Sampling Technicians will report to the lab at the beginning of each shift to collect their sanitized sampling kit, drive to licensed facilities for sampling events and return to the lab at the end of shift to drop off and input samples into our LIMS.
A Field Sampling Tech must be comfortable working with and around cannabis products. All employment offers will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, including a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) which must be clear to proceed.
Our Sampling Technician will:
- Driving to and from sampling events (requires several hours on the road each day).
- Follow all internal laboratory SOPs and state regulations while driving samples to and from the laboratory/clients’ sampling site.
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures.
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory.
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed.
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed.
- Support laboratory-based functions including sample intake/preparation, etc.
- Coordinate intake activities with Client Services Representative(s), Director of Client Ops, and Laboratory Director.
- Perform other duties as requested by Management.
Sample Collection:
- Randomly select samples for testing using the defined SOPs.
- Document sample and client information.
- Maintain proper chain of custody of the samples from the client to the laboratory.
- Receive samples and verify appropriate receipt conditions, including weighing samples.
- Enter the samples into the LIMS.
- Complete all necessary intake forms.
Customer Relations:
- Contact clients in conjunction with the Director of Client Ops and Client Service Representative(s) to determine their sampling needs to create a sampling plan (e.g.# of batches, requested analyses, sample information) and schedule sample collection.
- Make decisions on the condition of the product and advise the client if their product is ready to be sampled.
- Along with the Client Service Representative, maintain/enhance customer relations.

Courier/Delivery Driver for Cannabis Analytical Laboratory

We are team oriented and focused on excellent service. We are in the process of launching a new laboratory in Sacramento and are looking for a Courier to join our team.
Position: The Courier / Delivery Driver position is responsible for ensuring that samples are picked up from account managers and brought to the lab safely and following all our compliance procedures. This position will serve the state of California only.
Essential Duties:
- You will need to be able to work in a variety of weather and traffic situations.
- You will be required to use the company vehicle and ensure it is kept clean and maintained.
- You will deliver sampling and marketing supplies to account managers.
- You will pick up samples from account managers and bring them to laboratory to drop off.
- You will assist with regular maintenance of company vehicle.
- You will follow safety protocols when picking up samples and delivering to laboratory.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
- You will need a valid California drivers license.
- You must have a DOT Medical card or ability to obtain DOT medical card.
- We require that you have a clean driving record in the last 5 years. This means that you have only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents in the last 7 years, as well as no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL or at-fault fatal accident.
- Flexibility in work hours required.
- Background check required.
- References required.
- At least 2 year experience as a professional commercial or delivery driver.
- You must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- This position requires travel for 100% of the position.
- Ability to work overtime.
