Summary
QA/QC Assistant will be responsible for implementing quality control policies, supporting production, and maintaining a detailed record of quality standards for all manufactured goods before releasing them to production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Maintains and supports the Quality Management System (SQF, ISO).
· Assists creating mixes & taking quality measurements of manufactured goods.
· Perform qualitative analysis of product at all stages of production.
· Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products using Analytical Equipment.
· Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Documentation practices as defined by regulatory government agencies.
· Ensure compliance with all requirements and regulations in the cannabis space.
· Performs work in quality fashion.
· Must maintain satisfactory attendance.
· Communicates any issues immediately to supervisor.
· Understand and follow safety rules, standards, practices, and policies.
· Collaborate with Product Development as well as the R&D departments.
· Analyzing abnormal quality results to find the root of irregularity and coordinating efforts to implement countermeasures.
· Assures consistent quality of production by adhering and enforcing good manufacturing practices systems.
· Report discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction.
· Perform other work as assigned.

- Responsible for posting of open positions on the company intranet and on various job boards

- Full cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt positions
- Source viable applicants for exempt and non-exempt positions
- Sourcing resumes, applicant screening, scheduling, and coordinating interviews, via telephone and onsite and scheduling debrief calls
- Prepare offer letters
- Check applicant references and initiate needed paperwork
- Processing background checks for new hires
- Work with HR Generalist in the Hiring/Onboarding process
- Act as liaison with employment agencies for full time and temporary staffing

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery and pickup of Cannabis goods per daily schedule. Routes will include Carpinteria, Lompoc, and Camarillo. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with large volume and critical delivery parameters.
JOB DUTIES:
· Drives 18’ to 26’ reefer trucks and delivery vans to transport Cannabis goods and materials
· Load and unload vehicles
· Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed
· Follow all procedures according to regulations from the Bureau of Cannabis Control, CDFA, and compliance department
· Follow security measures
ESSENTIAL:
· Valid Class C driver’s license
· Minimum of 1-year experience driving larger vehicles
· Excellent driving record
· Above the age of 25
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
· Courteous and professional interpersonal skills
DESIRABLE:
· Bi-lingual
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
· Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment
· This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
· Willingness to work weekends
MENTAL/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to work in normal, refrigerated and below freezing temperatures for short or long periods of time.
· Ability to work in conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures with a fair amount of moisture present
· Ability to exert up to 50 pounds in order to lift and move product
· Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or ladder
· Ability to crouch, grasp and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly
· Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time as job duties require
· Ability to use required tools to perform job duties

Summary/Objective
We’re searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounting team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Essential Functions
Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates
Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and comply with federal, state, and local financial requirements
Adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and Company procedures and controls when carrying out assignments.
Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
Prepare and file 8300 forms with the IRS.
Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.
Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting.
Perform other duties as requested.
Competencies
Knowledge of the accounts receivable function.
Experience with various accounting software packages, in particular Microsoft Business Central knowledge preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of 8300 regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external parties.

This is a full-time position; typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (unless prior arrangements are made with supervisor) and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Travel
The Accounts Receivable Specialist may be required to travel to field locations from time to time.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting/finance.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the entire accounts payable process. Provides accounting support and information related to vendor accounts, employee expenses, and credit and debit card transactions to the accounting management and staff. Responsibilities include processing accounts payable invoices and payments, providing monthly expense accruals, maintaining accounts payable records and files, preparing and filing Form 1099, and a variety of other duties as assigned.

Download inventory purchase orders from the POS system or Excel tracking sheet and enter in the accounting software package.
Maintain invoice entry from accounting email, as well as provide timely responses.
Download cash register from the POS system or Excel cash ledgers and enter cash disbursements in the accounting software package.
Obtain appropriate approval and supporting documentation for all invoices.
Accurately code and enter invoices in the accounting software package; attach supporting documents.
Process employee expense reports and payments; refer to the employee expense reimbursement policy for guidance.
Coordinate with cardholders to collect credit and debit card reconciliations and receipts; review reconciliations for accuracy and enter in the accounting software package; refer to the credit/debit card policy for guidance.
Run weekly aging report and select items that require payment; obtain management approval to pay.
Issue checks make online payments, or request cash for approved items.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Work with vendors to answer inquiries or resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly expense accrual journal entries.
Prepare accounts payable related reports, or provide information, as requested by management or auditors.
Properly identify 1099 vendors and maintain appropriate fields in the accounting software package.
Collect Form W-9 from vendors, as required, and maintain W-9 data in the accounting software package.
Prepare and file Form 1099 and 1096 by annual IRS deadlines.
Organize and maintain Accounts Payable files.
Perform other duties as requested.
