GENERAL OVERVIEW
A Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is responsible for supporting the growth and development of Metrc. The BDC focuses on cross-functional support for our internal departments and coordinates the proposal process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

- Own Metrcâs proposal scoring tracker, including methodology and updates

The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will contribute to all areas of the Firmâs marketing and business development operations, including written and visual communications, event management, and public relations. Primary responsibilities include proactively managing requests sent to the department mailbox, taking the lead on the Firmâs social media platforms, coordinating sponsorships, events, and webinars, and maintaining the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Responsibilities of our Marketing & Business Development Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Assist with project planning by maintaining an ongoing project deadline spreadsheet to ensure deadlines are met promptly and within budget.

Job Summary
The business development associate will be responsible for leading efforts to research and identify new business opportunities, while also developing new revenue channels for our existing markets. The role will be based out of our corporate office in Independence, Ohio, but the job will begin as a remote position due to the current CoVID-19 situation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Research new opportunities to expand our service and product offerings to existing customers.
- Implement an outreach plan and develop a network of organizations that refer patients to Ohio Marijuana Card.
- Research and propose new business opportunities that the company should pursue in states across the country with developing medical marijuana programs.
- Pursue partnerships with dispensaries, cultivators, and processors to increase awareness and participation in Ohio's medical marijuana industry.

Requirements
- 4+ years of business development experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
