The Full Case Order Selector will primarily utilize an electric pallet jack and forklift in order to perform essential job functions. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders.
- Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list
- Notify Warehouse supervisor of picking stations not maintaining required production pace.
- Insure application of shipping ID numbers on each carton.
- Removes damaged merchandise from lines and replace as necessary.
- Clearly marks cartons with truck run and stop number.
- Verifies accuracy of picks prior to release of orders from work station
- Ensure that product is packed to ensure there is no damage.
- Restocks order selection zones as necessary during conduct of picking operations.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Maintains clean, orderly workstation-returns supplies, merchandise to assigned locations and cleans work area at end of production shift.
- Performs all tasks in compliance with Core-Mark safety policy and OSHA requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience a/o training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language: Ability to read, print, and speak simple sentences. Recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers. Must be able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately.
- Mathematical: Ability to add/subtract 2 digit numbers and multiply/divide 10’s and 100’s.
- Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Must be able to recognize for malfunctions in equipment and notify supervisors.

We are looking for a 2nd shift Warehouse Picker Order Selector to be an integral part of our fast-paced startup Cannabis Company. The Order Selector is responsible for selecting product in a safe and efficient manner, which includes reading labels, scanning location barcodes from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems, placing product in boxes, and preparing it for shipping.
Job Responsibilities
· Accurately pick products by scanning barcodes using a handheld scan device.
· Manually place the appropriate stock items on pick cart from pick slots and racks as required.
· Hand pack and stack cases of product weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively from floor to 4ft.
· Hand tag orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock area
· Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per company guidelines.
· Flexibility to work overtime and weekend as needed is required
· Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, aand lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-25 pounds.
- Work independently and possess strong decision-making skills
- Basic Math skills

The starting wage for this position is $17.00/hour. The wage has the potential to reach $22.80/hour once the employee reaches the productivity rate within their first 90 days.
This is a physical but highly rewarded position. The job requires excellent attendance, attention to safety and a great work ethic. Shift starts at 1:00 pm and goes until the work is done for the day.
Order Selectors pick grocery items from our 760,000 sq. ft. warehouse for our member stores. Operates industrial pallet jack and lifts product by hand. Order Selectors may work in very cold environments, repeatedly lift cases that could weigh as much as 80 lbs, but average 30 lbs, stack product, understand instructions given to you via a headset and work safely with equipment provided. This is a fast-paced environment that requires Order Selectors to be able to move quickly and accurately on a timed production standard. Prior production warehouse experience is preferred!
