Job Description
The Production Supervisor will report to the Production and Packaging Manager and will assist with multiple processes within the Trim and Pack department. Under the direction of the Manager and/or Assistant Manager, the Supervisor will ensure that associates are performing their duties related to trim and pack. This position manages and has 20 to 30 direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Competent in all trim and pack tasks and works hands-on in the department daily
- Works with the Processing Supervisor on daily tasks in the department
- Supervises staff/department to ensure responsibilities are being met and work is being completed timely
- Understands, compiles, completes and maintains reports needed for management review to include recordkeeping
- Ability to coach staff, address issues and offer constructive feedback when required
- Shows the capability to communicate with management and all other co-workers on a professional basis

WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.

Responsibilities and day to day:
General duties will include supervising the production department and will also include dealing with shifting production demands as presented in daily activities but generally shall include:
- Manage Production Shift – Directly responsible to manage, oversee, administer, police, control production shift team on a daily basis. Maximize outputs and support growth addressing, identifying and resolving key issues across and within departments.
- Staff Training & Compliance - Responsible to ensure department staff are in full compliance with the relevant authorities and scheduling and host necessary training, as needed
- Production Activity Reporting - Manage, update and report daily production activity using company systems and summarize information to support decision making
