Job Summary:
The Lab Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the production of concentrates and formulated products and all aspects of the tracking and quality control management. Ensures the safe, accurate and timely production of concentrates and formulated products. Supervises and oversees the work of several lab technicians. Coordinates with production schedules and Cure/Vault regarding product inventory and availability. Responsibilities Include:

- Maintain and verify inventory of production
- Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped
- Ensure accuracy in all lab data, counts, measurements, and weights
- Ensure compliance with all company policies
- Minimize waste where possible
- Assist Managers in training and coaching production support employees on proper procedures,

Position Summary/Objective
The Tissue Culture Lab Supervisor will work with the Director of Cultivation and COO to provide leadership, management, direction and support to the company's cultivation operations and team members. The right candidate will have both proven experience with tissue culture protocols and procedures, and a proven track record for leading and managing teams.
We are looking for a competent Tissue Culture Lab Supervisor to organize and oversee all micropropagation for our company. Cultivation personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high quality standards that align with company policy and state mandated regulations.
This Lab Supervisor is responsible for delegating, coordinating, guiding, and motivating Lab Technicians, to achieve target quantity and quality for in vitro plants. The role is responsible for planning weekly activities required for the production and delivery of in vitro plants domestically and internationally. The position also requires managing data and preparing reports as needed.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Conduct and evaluate plant tissue culture daily activities for mass scale tissue culture production
- Provide technical guidance and implement laboratory protocols
- Provide accurate inventories daily
- Ordering chemicals and supplies
- Responsible for establishing and follow up safety protocols
- Maintain tissue culture equipment maintenance/cleaning schedules
