Job Summary:
The Lab Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the production of concentrates and formulated products and all aspects of the tracking and quality control management. Ensures the safe, accurate and timely production of concentrates and formulated products. Supervises and oversees the work of several lab technicians. Coordinates with production schedules and Cure/Vault regarding product inventory and availability. The Supervisor journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software seed to sale tracking system.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace, and ensure Production Support teams understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures

- Maintain and verify inventory of production
- Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped
- Ensure accuracy in all lab data, counts, measurements, and weights
- Ensure compliance with all company policies
- Minimize waste where possible
- Assist Managers in training and coaching production support employees on proper procedures,
- Make recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the kitchen team.

JOB SUMMARY
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance oversees Regulatory and Compliance, providing overall responsibility for compliance with all applicable regulations regarding the legal cultivation, production, and sales of cannabis products. Develops and monitors programs, policies, and practices to ensure that the organization complies on current and new regulations and guidelines. Tracks relevant laws and regulations and directs staff to update operating manuals, and procedural documents in preparation for upcoming regulatory changes. Prepares compliance status reports for internal leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Monitor and assess current operations and processes for cannabis-related compliance risks
- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
- Assess compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies
- Evaluate all business activities relating to cannabis compliance, including policies, processes, and partnerships
- Conduct or direct the internal investigation of cannabis-related compliance issues
- Monitor and report results of the compliance of the company
- Maintaining knowledge of the company's legal documents and operations.
- Create, implement, and disseminate company policies and procedures as well as establish reliable internal controls regarding cannabis-related regulation
- Maintain and develop KPIs supporting regulatory issues
- Verify that software technology can adequately provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas
- Develop plans for crisis events or compliance violations
- Present audits, data, and procedures to other teams; advise on cannabis-related compliance issues across the company
- Provide reports on a regular on a quarterly basis and as directed or requested, to keep the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership informed of the operation and progress of cannabis-related compliance efforts
- Partner with company leadership to review potential future compliance red flags or risks; leverage strong interpersonal relationships between departments and teams for total compliance monitoring and audits
- Report violations of cannabis-related compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required
- Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes; attend regulatory seminars
- Research and advise on cannabis-related regulations and guidelines in new and potential jurisdictions
- Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of cannabis-related compliance standards
- Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures regarding cannabis have been documented, implemented, and communicated
- Proactive in understanding and educating changing regulations, laws, and best practices, as they apply to our business and industry

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Juris Doctor degree.
- 5+ years' experience working in a compliance role in a regulated industry such as cannabis, or pharmaceuticals
- 3+ years' experience in a compliance leadership role, or related position
- High degree of integrity and professional ethics
- Sense of urgency and a bias toward action
- Strong knowledge of the cannabis market regulatory landscape, with proven success in risk management
- Tech savvy and able to advise on the use of software and platforms for compliance related oversight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write and edit company policies and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- High level of engagement with stakeholders and third parties; able to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization

Director of Wholesale – The Flower Shop
The Flower Shop is hiring a Wholesale Director of Sales to lead our wholesale division. The Director of Wholesale reports to the company’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the company’s wholesale channel and our internal clients with a greater focus on our external retail partners. This role has revenue responsibility for the company’s distributed product and is charged with developing and managing an annual sales plan to support stated company goals. This position is largely self-managed and involves managing other individuals on the wholesale sales team. This role requires autonomy, strong leadership, expert analytics, and exemplary interpersonal skills, and must ensure accountability for both internal and external business partners.
Systematic tasks:
- Lead the company’s wholesale division and wholesale team
- Develop strategies to achieve stated company goals for wholesale volume and revenue
- Manage relationships internally and with our retail partners
- Identify and negotiate relationships with new retail partners
- Manage chain retailer relationships and grow chain volume
- Analyze market trends to identify areas for sales growth and increased retail
- Hold monthly and quarterly meetings with all retailers to review sales trends and opportunities

- Represent the company at retail, trade shows, festivals, conferences, networking events, and in the media
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, Advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum three years of experience in managing wholesale accounts at retail
- Experience selling to chain (MSO) retailers
- Experience selling at the local and regional levels
- Prior experience with leading, overseeing, and developing a strong team
- Proficiency with budgets, sales goals and forecasts are a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Has strong relationships with key customers and distributors
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite (including Outlook, Word, and Excel), Excel skills are key to this position’s success
- Strong data analytics and experience with sales intelligence software are critical. You must be able to present a compelling story through data analytics

The Packager for The Flower Shop is responsible for preparing flower for distribution to the dispensaries. This includes trimming, packing, rolling and stacking medical marijuana. We are seeking someone who is looking to learn about our industry and start at the ground floor. This position will be working in close quarters with others in a high-volume prepping and packaging area. In addition to working fast this person must also be committed to quality. Must be able to work in a production environment including lifting, standing and bending for most of the shift.
Responsibilities include:
- The ability to work consistently in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong finger dexterity for producing pre-rolls and packaging flower

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, Advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum three years of experience in managing wholesale accounts at retail
- Experience selling to chain (MSO) retailers
- Experience selling at the local and regional levels
- Prior experience with leading, overseeing, and developing a strong team
- Proficiency with budgets, sales goals and forecasts are a must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must

We are looking for a diligent Staff Accountant to join our accounting department. The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with the close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. You will also be assisting the Controller as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.
The Finance team is expected to work closely with all other departments to ensure all aspects of business strategies, development, and growth meet desired outcomes.
Key Areas of Focus for this position
- Experience and full understanding of inventory valuations and reconciliations
- Experience and full understanding of payroll processing and compliance
- Experience and full understanding of accounts payable, reconciling statements, and completing 1099’s

Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all invoices/POs are paid within established payment schedule
