The Keyholder is an experienced retail team member who provides support and assistance to the store management team through performing daily store opening and closing procedures, assisting with administrative tasks, and acting as a resource on the floor for other team members. The Patient Advisor is responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with patients. S/he shall spend time with the patient and listen to their needs and concerns, and make appropriate recommendations about medicine. Therefore, the Patient Advisor must have a drive to help people and solid knowledge of the medicine as well any many other products available. S/he must be able to explain the effects of various medicines and products and explain how each one can reduce a patient’s symptoms for different ailments. Ideally, the Patient Advisor will also be computer literate and able to use POS equipment and software.
-Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries and complaints
-Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their aliments
-Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
-Processing transactions
-Verify patient’s allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchasing using the state system
-Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
-Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed
-Follows all Michigan Department of Health Services laws
-Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team-work
-Assist with administrative duties
-Assist with managing the social media accounts
-Performs other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED //
-Knowledge of medical marijuana and different cannabis products
-Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
-Cash register experience
-Experience frequently interacting with customers, fulfilling customer requests and addressing customer issues, questions, or suggestions
-Ability to handle high stress situations and a busy atmosphere
-Experience in a retail setting
-Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time

-Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Bud-Back Duties & Requirements
- Navigate the store storage drawers and storage rooms to prepare customer orders accurately

- Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds required
- Operates a hand held radio transmitter
General Job Requirements
- Six months to one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service required
- One or more years of work experience in a related industry preferred
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate change and count down a drawer required
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, prior experience with Point of Sale software preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required

SUMMARY
The Store Manager is responsible for creating and sustaining a culture to ensure a superior retail experience for every customer. The successful candidate must understand business drivers, how to maximize profitability, and ensure visual and operational standards are consistently met or exceeded.
The store manager partners with staff and external businesses to fulfill all retail operations, including, but not limited to, inventory control, customer service, store appearance, displays, and staff development, and by performing other functions as assigned (i.e., special projects, ad hoc analyses).
This position is an integral member of the management team and supervises 20+ employees. The position reports to the CEO and partners with an existing store manager to achieve financial and operational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate all departmental employees to assure compliance.
- Manage and motivate staff (including hiring, firing, performance management).
- Conduct performance reviews to assess training needs and build career paths within the organization.
- Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of the dispensary provisioning center and team while inspiring the staff to deliver stellar customer service, including reinforcement of a proactive and consultative selling culture.
- Oversee and ensure cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, maintaining, and reconciling cash.
- Oversee and manage product inventory.
- Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee employee scheduling and maintaining the schedule for efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a top-notch store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share and profitability.
- Propose sales goals to management, works towards meeting sales goals by implementing training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the sales staff.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store.
- Ensures the website and live menus are up to date and maintained to the brand standard.
- Ensures all technology solutions are working and functioning as designed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Management experience 5+ years (preferably in retail management).
- Retail experience 7+ years.
- Cannabis-related experience 2+ years (preferably in retail).
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (strongly preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in inventory management and reconciliation.
- Prior experience with cannabis systems such as Metrc, (preferred).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
