The Patient Consultant position will ensure compliance with local regulations and laws, ensure seamless operations of the front desk area and assist patients as needed by delivering exceptional service. Job Description
The Patient Consultant position is a part-time role and will be responsible for attending to the needs of patients and caregivers. This role will be key to promoting a “patient-first” experience for the dispensary, delivering exceptional customer service and will focus on contributing to a collaborative, team oriented environment.
Duties will include but not be limited to the following;
- Daily compliance with policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, operating procedures, and work schedule
- Creates an exceptional customer service experience with patients through education, knowledge of products and salesmanship.
- Comply with all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces at point-of-sale areas and the dispensary facility.
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient and/or customer profiles.
- Knowledgeable of medical cannabis products and retail environments
- Assist in facilitating the flow of traffic within the dispensary
- Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators as specified by Sunrise and drive customer loyalty
- Contribute to an environment based upon communication, teamwork and engagement
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service
- Be proficient in, and ensure compliance with Sunrise policies, regulations adherence, procedures, and standards
Qualifications:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Able to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Identification Card
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time, bend and lift over 50 lbs. comfortably
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends
- Knowledgeable of the Medical Marijuana industry and medical marijuana products
- Must be able to speak English fluently; additional languages preferred
- Computer and technology skills required

The Patient Consultant position is a part-time role and will be responsible for attending to the needs of patients and caregivers. - Responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Store Manager
- Assist Patient Consultants in the consultation of patients to ensure that the employee is empowered and informed on the right product choices by being knowledgeable about how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently

Complete and appropriately delegate (if applicable) tasks assigned during a scheduled shift:
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verification of proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers
- Security measures and safety compliance
- Maintenance of an organized and clean store
- Support of open communication with the management team and other coworkers
- Reporting of team member issues or customer situations
- End of day daily update e-mails
- Opening and closing duties
- Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations, including:
- Lead in the onboarding and training of new Patient Consultants in partnership with the Store Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred
- Experience or study emphasis in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality
- Minimum of 2 years combined dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
- High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- Must be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, and high-volume cash handling

One of three dispensary licensees on the island of Oahu, Aloha Green Apothecary is a vertically-integrated cannabis company that cultivates, processes, and dispenses premium medical cannabis in Honolulu.
THE RIGHT FIT
We understand that many applicants may not have a lot of experience in the medical cannabis industry, especially since we hire locally. We care more about how well you'll fit with our company and the industry. Aloha Green Apothecary only considers applicants who currently live on Oahu, and candidates with strong ties to the community are highly preferred. We do not offer any relocation services. Military veterans and spouses, individuals who identify as LGBTQ, and women are urged to apply. Hawaii Department of Health regulations require employees of any dispensary in Hawaii be at least 21 years old without felony convictions and to undergo a thorough federal criminal background and fingerprint check.
DISPENSARY TEAM

We are looking for hardworking, positive, dependable, highly motivated individuals to join the truBLISS team. Budtenders are responsible for consulting with qualified patients and caregivers to assess patient needs and provide guidance on product selection. A passion to serve and provide exceptional patient care is a must. Budtenders will have to work in a fast-paced environment and will need excellent time/stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
General Duties and Responsibilities:· Greet and welcome patients with compassion and professionalism· Provide exceptional customer service with every transaction· Listen with the intent to understand and to make appropriate product recommendations for each patient’s ailments· Check patient’s allotment with Arizona Department of Health Services verification system· Accurately enter patient information into our database· Process patient orders and payments utilizing GreenBits POS software· Ensure work station area is clean and presentable· Stock, clean, and organize dispensary· Assist management with inventory counts as necessary· Prep and package products for sales floor· Follow all policies and procedures set by truBLISS and Arizona Department of Health Services· Contribute to the team and maintain a positive attitude· Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed
Qualifications:· Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age; pursuant to A.R.S. §36-2801.10· Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01· Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. §36-2801.10· Valid Identification· High school diploma or equivalent· Reliable transportation· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred· Product knowledge – must be familiar with the variety of methods used for cannabis consumption· Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues and inquiries· Professional, well-groomed appearance· Cash handling experience and excellent mathematical skills· Knowledge of basic computer skills and point-of-sale software· Open availability – weekends, evenings, and holidays are required
Physical Requirements:· Requires long periods of standing· Frequent bending, reaching, and crouching· Lift up to 40 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary· Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level
