Cultivation Technician I are responsible for trimming activities ad described in the Trimmer Job description, light cultivation maintenance/support and cleaning and sanitation activities. Cultivation Technician I reports directly to the Cultivation and Trimmer Leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct operations in professional manner to ensure State Compliance Laws are upheld.
- Perform all assigned tasks in the grow.
- Maintain and follow company and cultivation department policies and procedures.
· Follow plant scheduling and organization to help cultivation manager precisely project all plant needs.
· Fill out all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities consistently, honestly, and accurately.
- Work within the company’s continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, initiative, and quality of work.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility.
- Perform other assigned job duties as assigned.
- Clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every shift.
Specific Plant Care Duties
· Trellis installation
· Irrigation system assembly and maintenance
· Monitoring for and cleaning standing water
· Nursery maintenance and cleaning
· Harvesting
· Big leafing and deleafing
· Post harvest sterilization of grow bays and equipment
· Disassembly and sterilization of irrigation components
· Assembling irrigation lines for new crops
· Weekly facility deep-clean process
· Plant and root system disposal
· Moving plants from veg to flowering
· Cleaning activities as scheduled/assigned
Trimming Duties
· Trim duties will be assigned as described in Trimmer job descriptions
· Efficiently trim to accomplish trimming of raw product as assigned.
- Efficiently de-fan plants (wet trim) post-harvest.
- Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all trim weights.
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the trimming areas.
- Responsible for maintaining quality product.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.
- Must work well with others and ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique.
- Use of independent judgment regarding product processing, keeping quality, projections and goals in mind.

Required Experience
