- Maintains the highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all patients
- Responsible for managing the dispensary department in a manner that supports the organizations mission

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit, hire and staff the dispensary by recruiting top talent with a diverse set of skills among candidates.
- Work with other team members to ensure dispensary operations are compliant.

- Coordinate and partner with management to drive the success of promotions and loyalty program.
- Oversees and signs off on product buys from our wholesale partners.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure inventory is consistently accurate, up to date, effectively ordered and replenished.
- Maintain accurate records for all necessary documents; including but not limited to: daily cash reconciliations, delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee and patient/customer information, log books, inventory adjustments and destruction reports, in accordance with Company and State guidelines.

COMPETENCIES:

The Retail Store Manager will oversee the operation of the Curaleaf Dispensary. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members in the absence of the store manager.
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.
- Greets patients and offers assistance with products and services.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Curaleaf service traits.
- Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.
Operations
- Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members
- Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
- Learns to analyze inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and leveraging company resources to avoid outs and overstock.
- Supervises receiving, stocking, pricing, returning, and transferring of merchandise. • Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.
- Supervises operations of assigned location including strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Retail Store Manager will oversee the operation of the Curaleaf Dispensary. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, protection of store assets, supervising team members in the absence of the store manager.
Customer Experience
- Monitors and analyzes the customer service provided by team members. Offers feedback and coaching.
- Greets patients and offers assistance with products and services.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and Curaleaf service traits.
- Resolves customer complaints and helps respond to customers' special needs.
Operations
- Supervises operation of the store and team members, opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members
- Supervises the control of the store money including register counts, withdraws from the bank, armored car pickups, safe deposits, change orders and oversees all aspects of bookkeeping including ledger, invoices, cash reports and time records.
- Learns to analyze inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items, keeping stock, and leveraging company resources to avoid outs and overstock.
- Supervises receiving, stocking, pricing, returning, and transferring of merchandise. • Ensures that store/grounds are clean and presentable; manages repair and maintenance; responds to emergencies.
- Supervises operations of assigned location including strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software (e.g. registers, MJ Freeway, etc.). Ensures response to all systems problems by contacting information technology support and seeking solutions.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned, including assisting team members as needed.
- Willing to travel to other locations for training and/or coverage Daily Planning and Execution
- Assigns daily operational responsibilities and tasks and sets expectations for store team members and assistant managers. Business Performance Management
- Receives exposure to analysis of financial and performance data for the store, pharmacy, and clinic.
- Reviews and analyzes asset protection data and develops and implements action plans to reduce loss. People and Performance Management
- Manages team member performance by assigning responsibilities, setting goals and expectations, observing performance, providing feedback and giving recognition. Manages employee career progression.
- Ensures training of team members; provides coaching and mentoring. • Issues constructive discipline and makes discipline recommendations.
- Promotes teamwork and motivates team members by establishing expectations, tracking results, showing enthusiasm and sharing the vision.
- Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, applicable employment laws, and is consistently fair in the treatment of all team members.
- Develops and delivers performance management for direct supervises. Training and Personal Development
- Participates in the company and on-the-job training to improve skills and productivity and attends training requested by the Dispensary Manager, Director of Dispensary Operations and other company leaders
- Follows performance improvement plans offered by dispensary manager and director of dispensary operations
- Seeks self-development by monitoring own performance, setting high personal standards, learning about the fields of retail, pharmacy, and management, seeking best practices.
Communications
- Communicates regularly with team members through one-on-one discussions, group meetings, soliciting input, answering questions, and ensuring communication are open between management and non-management team members.
- Assists in planning and attending community events.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree prior to position start date or High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of retail supervisory experience
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills

Dispensary Retail Manager: We are looking for a manger who is proactive, motivated, positive, and organized with previous Dispensary experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the dispensary. Manage all tasks related to the dispensary, sales and marketing, public relations, inventory, and accounting.
- Responsible for the sales and growth of the dispensary
- Train staff on customer service, sales and product knowledge to ensure guests receive the best service possible.

- Provide timely and highly accurate recording of expense classification for city/county/state taxes.
- This position is ultimately responsible for and enforcing employees’ strict adherence to laws and regulations concerning medicinal/recreational cannabis.
Qualifications/Previous Experience:
- At least 3 years management experience in high volume establishments with extensive knowledge in the cannabis industry
- Must be able to input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers.

Position Summary
The Retail Dispensary Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

- Ensuring that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Guest Service
- Analyzing and measuring business trends; developing and implementing plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives while working within the METRC and POS systems.
- Ensuring appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise displays, and assortment in all departments; ensuring selling floor is adequately stocked
- Comparison shopping of product prices in the area and reporting results; sharing information with Executive Team and making appropriate price adjustments
- Reviewing department/store trends in order to recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives
- Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits
- Continually evaluating and reacting to performance issues and actively recruiting management candidates
- Training and developing store management in all aspects of the business; directing and monitoring training and development for all store personnel
- Performing other duties as assigned by Executive Team
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Cannabis Industry experience required, METRC experience and knowledge preferred
- 5+ years previous retail dispensary experience preferred

- Retail POS Systems: 2 years (Preferred)
- Cannabis: 2 years (Required)

- Customer Service / Retail Relations: 3 years (Required)
- Vendor Relationship Management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cash Handling: 3 years (Required)
