The Position:

We are seeking a reliable and trust-worthy Dispensary Door Attendant to join our team here at Solar Cannabis Co. in Seekonk, MA. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience and will be able to work days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce Solar Therapeutics safety and security procedures
- Enthusiastically greet all customers, staff and visitors that enter the building
- Check identification of all customers and visitors before permitting them inside the building
- Monitor the security cameras and help prevent/investigate diversion
- Receive packages/deliveries
- Assist with state inspections
- Assist with general store issues
- Answer front desk phone and direct calls accordingly
- Write various reports (post event and informational)
- Develop action plans with the Security Manager to ensure execution and follow up of physical security gaps
- Maintain compliance and records as required by the state and municipality
- Integrate and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, fire department, and all other emergency services
- Other duties as assigned by the Security Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in security or a related field
- Past training or experience with non-violent crisis intervention, behavior management, or other safety-awareness based training a plus
- Great time management skills
- Must be proactive, have a strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
- Comfortable with handling confidential information
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Occasionally moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
