Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Technician assists the Manufacturing Supervisor by maintaining quality control measures to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks which include preparing, extracting, and packaging medical cannabis derived products. The Manufacturing Technician must monitor and maintain production facility in accordance with the state of New Jersey MMP and standards set by Compassionate Care Foundation Inc.
Job Duties:
· Track of all cannabinoid containing material through state monitored tracking systems
· Prepare for production by reviewing production schedule, assembling and weighing plant materials for extraction, and preparation of manufacturing batch records
· Preform calculations with accuracy and precision
· Assist with the operation of highly sophisticated extraction equipment
· Process and assist in recovering concentrates and extracts from botanicals
· Clean and maintain extraction equipment and the manufacturing facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
· Assist in the manufacturing and packaging of medical grade products according to company SOPs
· Utilize hot/stirrer plates, thermometers, ovens, and similar equipment for product manufacturing
· Preform product formulations designed to include ratio specific cannabinoid components and other ingredients to ensure accurate deliverable dosage amounts
· Package the finalized tested and approved end products into their designated package materials for dispensing; this may include syringe filling, capping, aliquoting exact volumes into fill bottles based on calculations, and assembly of product containers.
· Make necessary adjustments and/or repairs to equipment such as pumps, balances, centrifuges, vacuum ovens, chillers and compressors
· Keep track of and update inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment.
· Ensure proper storage of supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to state guidelines
· Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware and equipment
· Maintaining material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
· Performs related duties as assigned
Compliance:
· Ensure the processing operation is fully compliant with state regulations.
· Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements.
· Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing facility
· Preform documentation upkeep by completing the required forms, reports, logs, and records during production
Job Qualification Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree / 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
· Mechanically inclined
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must not have been convicted of any felony offenses pursuant to state statues
· Past hands on experience working with medical cannabis is strongly preferred
Job Skills:
· Knowledge of and hands on experience with cannabinoid separation techniques, preferably supercritical extraction with carbon dioxide and decarboxylation methods desired
· Knowledge of all compounds that are naturally present on cannabis and methods of handling for proper preservation
· Ability to keep precise, highly detailed, and accurate records of calculations, procedures, and inventory of equipment, chemicals, consumables, and production
· Capabilities with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratoriesrecord keeping procedures
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time, along with frequent bending
· Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
· Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds with assistance
· Ability to work in a loud noise activity environment with provided ear protection

Overview:
New Jersey Alternative Treatment Center seeking a DispensaryAttendant to provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customerservice to our patients. This position is responsible for retail sales andeducating patients about the state's medical marijuana program, thedispensary's products and methods of consumption. Responsibilities also includethe dispensing of medical marijuana to patients and their caregiver’s and dataentry into point-of-sale and inventory tracking systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and effectively communicate information to patients regarding cannabinoids and terpenes, different strains and relevant symptom relief, proper dosages, potency and medical efficacy of marijuana;
· Assist patients and caregivers with cannabisrecommendations through the process of product selection, effects, potency,dosing, methods of consumption, and administration;
- Dispense medical marijuana, marijuana-infused products, and ancillary products to qualified patients in accordance with State regulations;
- Implement all point-of-sale procedures including patient identification and verification, product storage, packaging and labeling, register, and security;
· Management of patient records;
· Maintain knowledge of state regulatoryrequirements and guidelines;
· Follow established policies and procedures forcustomer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventorymanagement, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
Skills/Qualifications:
