The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting with all aspects of PAOFW’s cultivation operations from seeding to harvest. This position will be located at our facility in Duncannon and serve as a critical member of the cultivation team.
Key responsibilities include:
ï‚· Adhere to daily maintenance and monitoring of all plants; immediately report concerns to a
supervisor to ensure overall health of the crop.
ï‚· Filling, watering, and trimming of plants.
ï‚· Verify labels are placed properly with coordinating plant.
ï‚· Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to state compliance,
security and safety protocols, and standard operating procedures as well as internal trainings.
ï‚· Perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
ï‚· High School Diploma or GED required.
ï‚· Experience in a horticulture environment preferred but not required.
ï‚· Self-motivation including an ability to learn and improve.
ï‚· Demonstrated verbal communication skills.
ï‚· Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as an individual contributor.
ï‚· Ability to work all shifts, as needed, and maintain punctuality as well as attendance.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
This is a labor-intensive position, working in a production environment. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is required to walk,
stand for extended periods of time, and crouch/stoop. The employee will be required to use hands and
fingers to operate, handle, and/or feel objects, tools, and/or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee will be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be physically
capable of performing manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow facility,
including meeting activity performance counts, lifting/carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and
making adjustments to equipment, etc. Will be required to wear varying degrees of personal protective
equipment for specific tasks (some tasks require partial PPE; some will require full PPE). Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

- Provide education, guidance, mentoring, and feedback to dispensary team members as requested/required.

The General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations on the dispensary floor, including product management, services provided to patients, and the delegation of tasks to Wellness Associates while simultaneously ensuring the highest quality of patient experience. This position will be responsible to
maintain inventory levels for a fully stocked dispensary. The GM will ensure all transactions, and the implementation of other retail processes, comply with state and local laws and regulations. Under the direction of the Director of Dispensaries, this position will collaborate to develop and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support a performance and results-driven culture.
Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day activities and flow of dispensary related matters, including, but not limited to, employee oversight and management, maintain records for dispensary interactions, order supplies, and perform weekly inventory reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions.
- Track dispensary inventory for both products and supplies; complete orders as necessary.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and secure the ideal product for the most optimal cost,
keeping the best interest of the company at the forefront. - Partner with Senior Wellness Associates on a daily basis to open and close the dispensary and vaults as well as maintain day-to-day office operations; implement and oversee procedures related to opening and closing the dispensary.
- Maintain established standards of presentation, customer experience, and compliance.
- Record all sales and inventory transactions in accordance with state and local laws and regulations.
- Track sales metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; report data to PAOFW leadership.
- Maintain the electronic filing system by scanning, uploading, and saving paperwork in the appropriate folders.
- Under direction from the Director of Dispensaries, participate in the recruiting, training, development, and success of employees.
- Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations, and industry news; this may be accomplished through continuing education, annual HIPAA Compliance training, etc.
