The Role
This person will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the dispensary, handling the needs of all patients and hiring and developing a team of Patient Care Specialists who are passionate about medical cannabis and compliant with state and local rules and regulations. The Role

The Post Harvest Manager leads post-cultivation activities and operations of the cultivation department. This position will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction, as well as leading the team in developing the packaged products. The Senior Business Analyst (SBA), reporting to the CFO, will work with the Finance, Sales and Data Science teams to provide on-going management, reporting from and continuous improvement of the company’s financial, revenue and other data systems. Key systems that the SBA will leverage include Salesforce.com, Zuora, Quickbooks, Jira, Big Query, among others. The SBA will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining various integrations between data systems, building analyses, and creating consolidated reports from disparate systems. Other solutions that the SBA may be responsible for include feature requests for existing systems, integrations between systems, and analytics. The SBA will also take a lead role in assessing, acquiring, and implementing new tools along with ongoing maintenance of existing systems.
Key responsibilities would include:
- Lead projects to scale the Zuora environment to meet Flowhub’s business needs including integrations between Zuora billing, Salesforce.com and Quickbooks
- Building various analyses and create consolidated reports from disparate systems, including integrating usage data from Flowhub’s platform
- Create and develop financial and KPI dashboards and other reporting mechanisms
- Report out on a regular cadence on key metrics, surfacing insights and impactful data
- Ensure high data quality within the reports
- Build and maintain, or improve and/or update, various integrations, scripts and procedures between data systems
- Assist with track progress or roadblocks to OKRs
- Assist with board deck preparation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners and external vendors
- Identify critical business issues and initiatives and provide researched analysis on solutions
- Negotiate contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors to reach systems and solution end goals as needed
- Research to keep up to date with newest systems and best practices for business management
The SBA may also be asked to perform various finance or revenue related tasks such as:
- Architect, design, configure and deliver subscription billing and revenue solutions, initially based in Zuora billing, Salesforce.com and Quickbooks
- Creation of monthly financial reports (variance analysis, ratios, etc.) for distribution to executives, board and investors
- Work with the Revenue Operations to research, validate, and organize revenue goals and progress towards goals
- Deferred revenue entries and sales journal maintenance
- Compilation and reporting of implementation and product support statistics
- Update financial forecast with actual results
- Monthly bank reporting
- Commission and SPIFF calculation and reporting
- Work with Revenue Team leader to update accounting for changes to commission plans

- Provide excellent customer service to a wide spectrum of patients in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner.
- Accurately and efficiently process patient transactions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all company products.
- Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with company, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ask relevant questions to determine the best medicine for the patients’ concerns.
- Answer questions and provides general information and guidance for patients regarding policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations, communicating with sensitivity and respect.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and proper rotation.
- Operate POS system in efficient manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates will possess:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; College degree preferred.
- Proper licenses/certifications, if required.
- At least one-year retail experience.
- Prior point-of-sale experience preferred with the ability to learn POS system being required.
- Cannabis knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

The Cannabis Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.
Our ideal Cannabis Consultant has a positive upbeat attitude and a desire to help people find the best product for their needs. A background in retail and hospitality is highly preferred (1-2 years), but customer service experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Possess a positive attitude while greeting customers and patients
- Be an advocate of cannabis customer care
- Help customers and patients navigate through cannabis and educate them on how it can be used as a wellness product
- Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business
- Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice)
- Be open to continued, on-going cannabis education and training
- Provide support to managers and other Cannabis Consultants as needed
- Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front
- Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up
- Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws
- Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory
- Complete transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.) accurately updates the amount of product available
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations

The Zen Leaf Dispensary is dedicated to providing excellent customer service on every visit in an efficient and friendly manner. We are currently seeking entry level, full-time, Receptionists to join our upcoming Naperville, IL dispensary. The Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and customer record management.
The Receptionist is responsible for promptly, accurately, professionally, and courteously receiving and directing all telephone calls, customers, and visitors. As well as being responsible for helping to meet the needs of patients/caregivers and for communicating dispensary procedures and policies in a professional and effective way, ensuring compliance with Illinois state and local laws regarding medical cannabis. The Receptionist will also prepare and process outgoing and incoming mail and deliveries, including signing for deliveries when necessary and notifying recipients. They will ensure that all common areas are kept neat, clean, and stocked with appropriate supplies and will maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed. The Receptionist will also monitor building access and the safety cameras.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the facility
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws by requesting from each customer their identification/medical cannabis license
- Verify customer identification card status and ensure appropriate age before entering the dispensary
- Be able to explain the dispensary's procedures and policies to customers and ensure smooth processing
- Handle phones, paperwork, and filing (paper and electronic)
- Ensure that all common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor customer access, monitor safety cameras and maintain security awareness
- Assist in other duties as needed and directed
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- At least a high school diploma or GED
- Must be reliable, honest, responsible and mature with a strong work ethic
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, positive and cheerful attitude, with a strong customer service orientation
- Experience and comfort using computers and various software programs
- Successful completion of a thorough personal reference check and background check
