Core Tasks
Candidate will have proven ability to identify dispensaries and processors that are a good fit for our brands and demonstrate how KAI can help them meet their business goals with our products.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets; Create and execute plans for frequent sales visits and interactions with key targets and staff throughout Michigan for in-person customer meetings; Maintain the high-level customer satisfaction expected of a premium brand by monitoring customer feedback and promptly resolving any customer complaints; Consistently pursue and utilize deep knowledge of cannabis market demands, trends, and competitors to effectively translate them into winning business strategies and tactics; Understand the needs and challenges of prospective customers by taking a consultative selling approach and following the established sales process that moves and closes deals through each stage of the selling process.
Work closely and communicate effectively with various functional KAI teams to ensure a seamless positive customer experience; Schedule, set-up, and conduct Vendor Days; Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in the company’s CRM platform; Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address threats; Generate accurate quotes and invoices for customers and provide consistent follow-up communication; Track and analyze initiatives and performance to ensure we meet and/or exceed our revenue goals; Always comply with the laws and regulations governing the sale of medical and recreational cannabis in the State of Michigan; Experience in METRC with the State of Michigan.

- Ability to engage customers, understand their needs, differentiate our offerings, leverage individual drivers, and drive momentum by solving problems.
- Own the business by independently organizing and managing account and business activity, adapting to constant change and its pressures, collaborating with internal team and working with third parties.
- Market and industry expertise, KAI product and competitive product knowledge, business acumen, technical and MS Office suite of products.
- Flexible work availability – able to travel, including weekends when necessary to drive production.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- METRC experience in the State of Michigan
Requirements
- 1-3 years of cannabis wholesale experience and/or 2-5 years B2B sales experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Resume with (3) references

- Reliable Transportation
