This role will be strategically located at Agilent HQ in Silicon Valley and will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and projects that interacts with all levels and geographies within Agilent. There will be close interaction with the actual development teams and machine learning engineers in addition to leading new strategic corporate initiatives.

Work closely with Product Managers to refine product requirements
Setup scrum boards and create stories based on the Product Requirement Document
Lead daily stand ups and other technical meetings
Collaborate with developers
Track the projects status, mediate issues, provide weekly status reports
Responsible to set up and maintain the project documentation
Identify product requirements and limitations to ensure system functionality
Demo features for internal and external presentations
Research technical issues and aid the debugging of issues and become an expert on new features during development and after deployment
A key liaison between QA, leadership, engineers, and the customer-facing team
Promote collaboration among team members and direct the team towards upcoming goals
Qualifications
- 8+ year experience in software project management/product development
- Software developer or similar technical background will make you a standout candidate
- Some (1+) experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Agile Scrum Master
- Understanding of Full Stack applications AI/Machine learning, Java, JavaScript, and C++ is a plus
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, friendly, and collaborate well internationally
- Strong mediation and interpersonal skills that enable you to solve technical and resources challenges

Associate VP, North American Technical Sales Team

The North American CMS technical sales team is comprised of Territory Product Specialists and Application Scientists focused on selling the full suite of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry solutions to Agilent Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers in the US and Canada. As the Americas Field Operations (AFO) CMS technical coverage team Senior Director, you play a pivotal role in leading and directly managing the AFO sales channel in order to achieve quota and drive profitable growth. You will work closely with the CMS Solution unit teams, AFO field marketing, and the broader AFO sales organizations to develop sales plans and programs that deliver business results.
We are looking for a high potential leader ready to take on the challenge of leading a team of ~75 scientists and technical product representatives; this will include developing demo and sales strategies, maximizing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, managing the US and Canadian COEs, and creating programs in order to achieve quota as well as double-digit growth within the operating budget and headcount targets.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that Agilent continues to develop sales and marketing industry leadership and that Agilent remains recognized as both the market and marketing leader in its business segments. Continue to develop a culture of innovation and excellence within the Agilent PS and AE organization
- Develop, in conjunction with the Agilent Senior Leadership Team, appropriate short, medium, and long-term tactics/strategies to reinforce Agilent as the global leader in Life Science and Applied Markets
- Leadership and direct management of the Technical coverage team, comprised of Territory Product Specialists, Application Scientists, Operating managers and COE-based resources
- Quota achievement and profitable growth driving overall CMS results; working closely with sales leadership to establish and monitor these goals, with refinements made as necessary throughout each fiscal year
- Develop an organization that is designed and staffed to meet the goals of the LSS business, while simultaneously seen as the "employer of choice" throughout the industry and by Agilent's own employees. Carry out a detailed team review to assess and strengthen the talent bench
- Development and execution of a sales plan, strategies and related programs focused on the content creation for new and emerging market opportunities to achieve the CMS AFO sales targets
- Partnering with the Chemistries and Supplies and Aftermarket Service sales teams to drive key customer engagements and smooth hand-offs
- Collaborating with the instruments sales managers to develop sales strategies and plans for double digit growth of for key product groups and NPIs
- Lead the commercialization teams in AFO for CMS NPIs
- Lead the content creation initiative for emerging market opportunities (ex: Cannabis, PFAS, micro-plastics, etc)
- Partnering with the CMS Divisions to define products and programs that drive CMS orders in AFO
- Represent the Life Science & Chemical Analysis organization in a positive and proactive matter within the Agilent regional leadership structure
Geo Location: Greater Wilmington Delaware area, or greater Santa Clara California area preferred. Remote work is allowed.

The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location. For CO, the salary range is $209,250 and $348,750.
