Job Summary
Lead Budtenders are responsible for customer experience which includes helping customers, processing the transaction, cash handling, and stellar customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. As a critical part of the business operation, the Lead Budtender will have the most interaction with the store’s patrons. Must be outgoing, passionate, and very knowledgeable on the products and cannabis. Lead Budtenders also assist the Management Team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Continuous cannabis education including, but not limited to, knowledge of strains, terpenes, consumption methods, cannabis culture, medical implications, efficacy, effects/high, aroma/tastes/aesthetic, state and municipal regulations for medical and recreational cannabis
- Stay apprised of any events, promotions and special and promote them with customers
- Provides quality customer service and always demonstrates professionalism
- Greets customers warmly when they enter
- Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with state and local laws and regulations established company policies and procedures.
- Accurately record any pertinent notes that will help provide excellent customer service when the customer/patient returns
